  1. We have the shaka hand gesture as a sort of salute in Hawaii … “Everything is cool , bro .”

Only difficulty is when whilst holding a can of beer .

  2. I just bought one of the last available Super Early Bird tickets for ZorkFest. I had thought about going last year, but it was a little too much effort (even though I could have stayed at my father-in-law’s house – for free – in South Lake Tahoe). I am a Las Vegas local who lives just off of Flamingo Rd – which runs right past Horseshoe Las Vegas, so it is very convenient for me this year!

  3. Gary, I didn’t know you follow Cleetus 🙂

Never quite expected Garrett to buy an air strip, I figured he was going to try to expand the Freedom Factory to include a strip at SOME point before the developer bought all the land around him (I’m still floored that the Manatee County Supervisors allowed a HOUSING development to go up near a race track – err rezone).

He & his troup have done an amazing job transforming the race track into Freedom Factory – my partner & I have been to a few events there and its been a lot of fun! Can’t wait to see whats in store for Bald Eagle Airfield!

And for those of you not in the know, Garrett (Cleetus) started as an intern with a race team then became the social media guru for a car racing magazine. Freedom Factory is about 10 minutes east of I-75 in Sarasota and has events year-round… many are fun even for non-car enthusiasts.
