- Given Delta’s partnership with El Al it is no surprise that – as previously announced – Alaska’s partnership with them has now ended. The good news is that Air France KLM has reasonably priced awards on El Al and the major bank transfer currencies all move to Flying Blue. (ANA also has a new partnership and good redemption rates.)
- Alaska Airlines has removed award travel on Hainan Airlines as an option ostensibly temporarily, due to IT issues.
- Singapore Airlines will no longer suspend cabin service when the seat belt sign is on
Aftermath of Singapore Airlines flight 321 from London to Singapore which had to divert to Bangkok due to severe turbulence. One death passenger and several injured. Blood everywhere, destroyed cabin. #singaporeairlines #sq321 pic.twitter.com/C2FgrVt9yv

- Another round of Air France KLM promo awards with no business class discounts.
- 30% bonus on transfers from American Express to British Airways, Aer Lingus and Iberia through September 30.
- 20% bonus on transfers from American Express to Hawaiian Airlines through August 31.
- 20% bonus on transfers from Capital One to Qantas through August 31.
- 70% bonus on Chase transfers to Marriott through August 14. Makes Marriott transfers less bad, but still not good.
The good news is that Air France KLM has reasonably priced awards on El Al and the major bank transfer currencies all move to Flying Blue.
That is no longer true, the rates have skyrocketed.
(ANA also has a new partnership and good redemption rates.)That partnership is not yet live.
“scares passengers”? How so? The dog was not snarling, his skin was just being pulled up by being wedged between the seats. Anyone scared by this dog has emotional problems themselves and shouldn’t be flying.
I wouldn’t be scared by dog but would not like it. They are supposed to be on the floor with their person.
Real Service Dogs have “four on the floor” and do not sit in seats . . . restaurants, grocery stores, airplanes (any place where food is served or sold) buses, and public buildings. The airline and pet owner should be fined heavily for failing to abide by public health ordinances.
The curious pet dog is the proper breed to pass for a trained Service Dog, but it’s not.
Boo. What a misleading title for this post. “Scares passengers”? The tweet says “Best flight ever” and is set to light-hearted music.
Either way, this impacts disable people with real service animals. As entitled pet owners allowing their pets to freely “move about” the aircraft, climbing on seats, the airlines will clamp down. This will result in more scrutiny for all SAs in trying to weed out fake ones.
British airways transfers are just about a thing of the past.
The only good use I found was for relatively shorter flights on American Airlines and they’ve just made the minimum ticket price 12,000 avios
What a trash blog for a fake and outright misleading headline.
The tweet says “Best flight ever,” has a doggy emoticon, and the music is happy.
I wish I had been on that fun flight
