Start 2025 With Accor Platinum Status Through Bilt’s Exclusive New Year’s Match – Limited Time Rent Day Perks

Bilt’s first Rent Day of 2025 has an elite status offer with Accor hotels as its headline affair. Accor has 55 brands, with a huge footprint in Europe and they’re large in Asia as well. Some of their most recognizable are Fairmont, Orient Express, Raffles, Novotel and Sofitel. The program introduced robust elite benefits shortly before the pandemic, including confirmed suite upgrades.

Accor Live Limitless Status Match

Accor doesn’t generally offer status matches, which makes this really unique. On January 1st, all Bilt Members can opt into a status match with ALL – Accor Live Limitless. Matched status lasts for a year, and Bilt Platinums who match to Accor Platinum will even get a soft landing to Gold in 2026.

  • Status match is available January 1st, 2025 at 12:00am Eastern until January 2nd, 2:59am Eastern in the Bilt Rewards app or website.

  • There are choices for the match, with higher-level matches requiring transfer ot a nominal amount of Bilt points. That encourages you to use the new status – and also yields revenue for the program in which you’re matching since you’re transferring a small number of points unlikely to be redeemed right away. These transfer requirements seem to make it easier for Bilt to sell the match ideas to their partners (it was a requirement of the Air France KLM and Alaska status match offers).

  • Requests for Silver or Gold generate an email with a link to complete the match. Status will take 24 – 48 hours to update. Requests for Platinum will be upgraded automatically within 15 business days.

  • Status will be valid through December 31, 2025. Gold and Silver matches receive a shortcut to requalify for 2026 – 3 nights to retain silver and 8 nights to retain Gold. Platinums don’t get reduced requalification, but do receive a soft landing to Gold.

Matched Platinums receive two guaranteed suite night upgrades (additional suite night upgrades are earned every 4,000 status points), lounge access at most hotels with lounges, as well as breakfast at properties in Asia Pacific.

Accor Platinums can match to Qatar Airways Privilege Club Gold status after one flight. That’s oneworld sapphire, a status that allows you access to American Airlines and Alaska Airlines club lounges – even on domestic flights, and even including American’s Flagship business class lounges.

You can take advantage of your new Accor status transferring Bilt points to Accor at a 3:2 ratio, which is more favorable than transfers from Citibank and Capital One. At current exchange rates you’re getting about 1.4 cents per Bilt point to spend at Accor since 3,000 Bilt points gets 2,000 Accor points worth 40 euros.

I sort of love the name of Accor’s program (Accor ALL), too, because it’s recursive – the A in ALL stands for Accor. It’s like the G in GNU which stands for GNU (GNU’s Not Unix).

Additional Rent Day Offers

Bilt has its usual stable of offers for the first of the month, with more points and deals on some good restaurants plus fitness partnerships. If you don’t have New Years plans yet, you might now. Or save paying the New Years Eve bill until after midnight to earn more.
