Two months ago I mentioned an offer where you can get 47,000 IHG Rewards Club points for $47.
Buying 94 notecards, envelopes, and stamps you can register for the IHG Rewards Club Priceless promotion. Then handwrite the following on each card:
- Full Name
- Complete Mailing Address
- Day Phone Number
- Evening Phone Number
- Email Address
- IHG Number
- First 6 Digits of MasterCard
- Date of Birth
Then mail each card separately (ideally handwriting the address) to: IHG and MasterCard® Priceless Surprises® Promotion, c/o HelloWorld, Inc., P.O. Box 5996, Kalamazoo, MI 49003-5996

At a minimum you should receive 500 points per entry. And a very cramped hand.
Some folks have had mixed experiences with this. Via Rapid Travel Chai, one Deals We Like reader won a million points. It seems like some people did receive entries that didn’t win the 500 points, though this seems to have been a glitch. The expected value of an entry is more than 500 points.
One enterprising reader set up a side business to handle all the process for you. I took advantage of that offer, paid them their fee, and I got one batch of entries on Friday night and another batch on Saturday night. Mostly I received 500 points per entry, though I received a couple of 5000 point wins. Well worth it.
- Note that the link in each of the separate emails I received was the same.
- So don’t worry as much about whether you received the emails, some people report only receiving a few — just keep on using the same link you receive in a batch of emails: play the game, then go back to the link and play again, until it stops letting you play (you’ve used up your available entries).
- Another batch of emails is an indication that you’ve got more entries to use.

Yes, depending on the price I might be interested in paying them to do it, but the link is incorrect. Also, has anyone done this without having a MasterCard? I don’t have one.
Works even better if you buy stamps at a discount from face value from a stamp dealer.

Perhaps by coincidence my IGH MC that was used to enter was hacked even though I’ve never used it! Better consider putting your card used to enter on transaction alert to be safe.
Will any MasterCard work, or does it have to be the IHG card?
I got 44 in the mail before I left the country… won’t be back to do the rest. Wish I had done more. But at any rate, I’ve only won 500 points on each entry so far. I guess it’s still worth it, but a lot of work. I wish I had know that machine addressed envelopes seem to be getting through. I would have put in more effort if I had know that would work
@Paul those CC digits you put on the note card wouldn’t be of much help to hack your card.
I received my 94 email entries and scored a total of 50,500 points. They don’t count towards spire elite status do they?

The contest rules state first 6 digits. I think all your entries were disqualified. :/
Data point: I sent 30 entries on 11/15/2015 and just over two months later, I received ONE email entry last Saturday. So much for T&C’s saying it would take 7 to 10 business days!

Sent 25 in early December. Still not a single response from IHG. Glad I didn’t waste time with 94 entries!
I think Paul’s issue was a coincidence, though things are a little strange with CHASE: I was approved for the United VISA, but when it arrived (and before calling to authorize) it already had an online charge on it! I didn’t even know that could happen. And my Dad (in his 80’s) had a bogus internet charge on his FREEDOM card: almost $200 from match.com in the United Kingdom. CHASE apologized and inmmediately reversed the charge.
Why do you say hand write the envelope also? Did the service you use do that?
I had handwritten the index card but used labels for the envelopes. Hoping this works!

You are not limited to 94 entries, but extra ones won’t get you anything. 🙂
I did this back when it first started, i was able to get a net total of 52,000 IHG points + 1 free night. AWESOME value for $47 and a few hours of my time 🙂
The 52k points I had were 1x 5k, 2x 2k, and 2x 1k, and the rest were all 500 points (with the exception of winning the 1 free night).
Like askmrlee and steve above, I too send in a bunch of individual, hand-written entries exactly as instructed in mid-December. Have received absolutely nothing at all. No points. No e-mail.
Can this be done with any Mastercard? or only IHG mastercard?

Printed the address directly on the envelopes via the computer/printer. No issues – all entries were excepted. 35,500 points have already posted to my account, awaiting the remaining 16,000 points – hopefully in a few days. You should have no problems with printed address labels.

How long after playing did you see the points showing up in your account?
I mailed in 94 entries; received 87 emails yesterday. Played 85 of them, and the last two came back with “you have used up all your entries”. Strange, but hey, whatever! So far, I have won 1 x 2000, 3 x 1,000 and the rest 500 points.
Hope I get my remaining 7 entries. If not, no big deal. Happy to get whatever I get!
