I use Bose QuietComfort 25 Headphones. I paid $300 for mine when I bought them. Amazon has them on sale for an amazing $125.
Regular price is now $279. They went on sale for Black Friday at $179. $125 is the lowest I’ve seen. But what if I told you they could be further discounted to $77?
You may be able to get them cheaper by taking advantage of a 20% off promotion in conjunction with American Express.
- Enroll an American Express card in shop with points
- Click activate for 20% off when you redeem Membership Rewards to pay.
- Pay with just one Membership Rewards point
What’s bizarre is that this is taking 20% off the original price, not the discounted price, meaning that they appear to be selling these headphones for just $77 with the discount stacked. Unreal.
To be sure this isn’t the latest generation headphone, that’s the Bose QuietComfort 35 which is wireless. But I am still very happy with my QC25s, and I’m definitely not spending $300 for new headphones that don’t seem to sound any different.

Fantastic find.
Perfect! Just added it to finish my last $500 amazon 20% deal. Thanks!
They’ve already corrected it, no Amex discount on original price.
When I click on your 20% link, I am getting this message…. “Thank you for your interest. Unfortunately you are not eligible for this offer.”
Any suggestions what I am doing wrong?
Still looks live to me.
It is live for me @ $125, but I cannot figure out how to get it down to $77….
Seems to be pretty much random pricing. I ordered two sets and got a price of $75 each (maximum $100 off from AMEX per order), then ordered another pair and the price was $95 (only $30 off from AMEX). $95 is still a sweet price, so I’ll take it.
amazing. I’ve been wanting to get another set of these. I got one at the last time these were a great deal, but my wife has decided it’s hers. But this deal is even better. I had some difficulty getting my amex points to show up, but I had an expired card on file and that was the problem. My price before taxes $85.40. WOW! thanks for bringing this to my attention!
Hmm, so how are you getting these random prices? Are you using the link above? I have tried different browsers, and no matter what I do I get the $125 plus tax price.
Thanks for the heads up! Mine came out to $73. Would I have liked the 35 version better? Probably. But can’t beat this price for the 25 version at a 75% discount.
@Wade, Everybody is using the same process, add the headphones to your cart, check out using one AMEX point to pay and putting the rest on their AMEX card and the result (from what I have seen reported) ends up being anywhere from $69.20 to $125 (when the pay with points deal doesn’t work). I am kind of wondering if I should have spun the wheel a couple more times before I bought the set for $95!
Weird. That is exactly what I am doing, and every single time it comes out to $137.62. I even added my card to a friends account, different city, and it still comes out to the same amount.
You need to activate the Amex 20% off deal on Amazon first, I was having the same issue. Click on the “learn more” button next to the Amex offer on Amazon site, then click “activate offer”.

@ Wade, the 20% off is a “targeted offer” you might not be targeted. I don’t always get “targeted” but this time I did ! yea took advantage and got them for $85 to the door
The $125 price is for Prime members only, FWIW.
Great find, Gary. Worked for my order.
After sleeping on it, then digging around a little, I found this code to add, and made the total $76.18. Whew, I really wanted those, but didnt want to pay $135 for them… Anyway, this code works even if you are not targeted.

One thing I learned when trying to buy 2…..the 20% off discount is capped at $100 total across all purchases so one was $77 and the second was $86. So if you’ve used in the past, you may not be able to get the full benefit of the 20% off.
Wade – the code worked!! Thank you.
Wow, thanks Gary! With no shipping cost, taxes, and discounts, got mine for an unbelievable $74.00. Amazing deal!
Thanks Wade. I struggled, but that code did the trick.
Total Price inc. tax w/ free shipping $72.56
What an insane deal. I just got mine for $65, after they took $10 off for the Whole Foods shopping credit I got during Prime Week. Wow.
*sigh*
too good of a deal to pass. saw the sale happen and tried to ignore it for a day, but this post put me over with the MR 20% off. Giving it to the Mrs I guess? Since I already have a pair.
