American Airlines One Day Fare Sale, One Way Tickets for $30 Each

JetBlue is running a sale $30.30 one way tickets for travel tomorrow, October 31 only.

And Dan’s Deals reports that American Airlines is matching the sale.

This is available on myriad routes like: Boston – Chicago, Chicago – New York, Chicago – Miami, New York – Miami, Miami – Los Angeles, Miami – Phoenix, Miami – DC, New York – Atlanta (and Boston, Phoenix, San Francisco, LA). Just try routes for travel on October 31 and see what you come up with. For example,

When I search ITA Matrix I come up with a fare basis that says it’s basic economy, however booking at AA.com these are available clearly as regular economy fares. The only restriction is you have to book by October 31, and travel must commence October 31.

In order to get a price of $30.30 we’re talking about a base fare of just $14.88, since the other half of the ticket gets eaten up in taxes.

If you book at AA.com there are no refunds, the 24 hour refund rule doesn’t apply to a booking close in like this. However purchase on Priceline.com and they’ll honor 24 hour refunds.

You mean that they will void within the ARC void window. There is nothing to honor.
