- Etihad is planning to keep its Airbus A380s until 2032 which aligns with Emirates’ plans, and they are considering putting first class on new delivery widebody aircraft types. Qatar Airways won’t eliminate first class either.
- In the U.S., Marriott Titanium isn’t much better than Platinum and Ambassador isn’t much better than Titanium. Now, visually:

@mantis I’m not sure why upgrades to premium economy would affect elites. Elites, myself included, are entitled to book extra legroom seats in advance. It’s not lime they’re giving them free business class. It sounds like a chance to give people a taste of the product in the hope they will purchase it in the future.
Exactly. Elite members can reserve in advance. I think it’s fantastic that Alaska is surprising and delighting. Somebody who’s never had the experience of sitting in a premium seat. Bravo From this Alaska MVP

I don’t find Concur that bad, though it has definitely got worse with each UI “upgrade” over the past four to five years.
Is LA not an expensive city to live in? 400 dollars round trip is expensive? What about the honeymoon? Why not try Vegas?
