Items that came across my virtual desk this morning, but that don’t necessarily warrant their own standalone posts:
- The link for the 1000 Priority Club point bonus for every qualifying night between June 1 and September 3 (up to 20,000 bonus points) isn’t yet live.
However, via Pizza in Motion, it’s up on Facebook — and by registering through Facebook the promo starts right away instead of June 1.
- Sofitel is running a 40% off sale through May 20 for stays between June 25 and September 3. A great way to use the free Platinum status that many of y’all have.
- Frugal Travel Guy compiles credit card company account status and reconsideration telephone numbers. Bookmarked.
- American Airlines Admiral’s Club lounge passes are on sale for $30 (40% off) through Noon Eastern on May 16. (Via Destination David on Milepoint) At 12 airline pass reimbursements for $20, I still think that the Skyguide Executive Privilege Club is a better deal.
Update: Yeah, yeah, ok people 🙂 I’ve fixed the year in the post title…
Cool! A post from the future!
2013?
I am not getting 40% off at Sofitel New York for 9/1-9/4/12 or 9/1-9/3/12.
Gary – I thought you might find this of interest. American Express just launched first of its kind mobile offers engine. The app, exclusive to iPhone/iPad, will give people one place to view all available offers and promotions. Essentially, the service works by allowing users to find a deal and link it to their American Express card account. Kind of bringing of all Amex social media initiatives under one umbrella.
Take a look at their press release:

Was already excited with the 40% off Sofitel. Unfortunately London (where I’m going) isn’t on the list.
