An easyJet flight from Tenerife, Spain to London’s Gatwick airport was cancelled on Sunday night after a toilet incident. Passengers and crew discovered someone had gone number two on the lavatory floor.

Flight 8054 had already gone from bad to worse. It was delayed over three hours when passengers had
to be moved from one aircraft to another. A smaller second plane meant that the sold out flight was overbooked, and easyJet was offering 500 euro vouchers for anyone that would volunteer to take a later flight. Everyone would later find themselves on a later flight.

One passenger showed up at New York JFK and bought tickets for everyone looking to travel to Israel with a notice to join the reserves. The country has activated 360,000 civilian reservists, representing around 4% of the entire population.

Reportedly he paid for 250 seats on an El Al Boeing 787-9 which holds 282 passengers.

I’ve shown up at the airport where both TSA and CLEAR lines were long, and the only way to make my flight was to cut the line. In the confusion of all of the passengers that was doable, if a bit aggressive. As long as you don’t get into a fight in the line you’re probably going to be fine. But breaking rules inside of the screening area will never go well.

One man decided just to press through the screening checkpoint… without stopping for screening.

Saturday night’s EVA Air flight BR68 from London Heathrow to Bangkok diverted to Vienna after a woman self-upgraded from economy to premium economy and ‘refused to pay for the upgrade’ while her booze-influenced partner wouldn’t stop smoking and became abusive to crew. He was tackled and taped to his seat.

The flight diverted, and they were taken off. The woman threw £5,000 (US$6,000) at the man. It blew off in the wind.
