  1. Heads up that the Caribou Coffee deal isn’t being honored by most locations outside of Minnesota. At least according to the owner of my local franchise.

  2. Gary,

I wanted to get your opinion on an ethical situation.

I know a guy who for two nonprofits and makes about $150,000 a year. He is in charge of finances for the organizations and he uses his personal credit card to pay for a lot of the organization’s expenses, to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars, then submits a reimbursement for the expenses while pocketing hundreds of thousands of points that he uses personally.

Does that seem ethical to you? Shouldn’t he use those points for the work of the nonprofit? Should I report him to the board? Or should I report him to the IRS as he is likely not disclosing this income on his taxes.

Would love to hear your thoughts.
