When you think of visiting Argentina the first thoughts are probably Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls, or Mendoza for wine country. But American Airlines is offering an amazing $1436 roundtrip business class fare non-stop from Miami to Cordoba, Argentina — so you may want to visit Cordoba, or use it as your jumping off point for the region.
This is just a $651.50 fare each way plus taxes, which is really good for business class to Southern South America — and not even a mistake.
Key details of fare basis INX2GSN3:
- Depart US Tuesday – Saturday
- Return Saturday through Wednesday
- 21 day advance purchase required
- 5 day minimum trip
- Fare will expire June 14, but there’s no guarantee it will last that long
- $300 change fee
Departures from Miami access the Flagship business class lounge.
American operates the Miami – Cordoba flight four days weekly, Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday/Sunday to South America and Monday/Wednesday/Friday/Sunday on the return.

Business class on the 767 is a fully flat seat with direct aisle access, but the Thompson Vantage seat isn’t as spacious as business class on the airline’s other widebody aircraft.
Discounted business class fares are the new mileage run. The trip is 4069 miles each way. If you’re crediting to American Airlines you earn redeemable miles based on the fare paid, but elite qualifying miles based on distance — and I fares earn double qualifying miles so 16,276 qualifying miles roundtrip.
Most partner airlines award 150% of flown miles, including Alaska Airlines which still awards miles on American international flights.

Amazing enough seems pretty available. I just booked MIA-COR leaving Tuesday, September 17 and returning Sunday, September 22 for $1436.03. Have it on hold since need to look at hotel awards available and clear the trip with family (retired so no big deal to head out for 5-6 days). Also, will book award ticket CLT-MIA since fare was only available on MIA-COR flights. Pretty amazing price for business (even if older business product).
Looks like its gone. I’m showing RTs priced at $2674 in business…
