Delta’s Latest Award Sale – Asia for 30% Fewer Miles

Delta puts a specific award on sale usually each month and this month it’s North America – Asia roundtrip.

Delta pretends to no longer have award charts. The truth is they are just hidden. Saver or level one awards are normally 35,000 miles each way in economy for North Asia and 40,000 miles in economy each way for the rest of Asia. For business class it’s 80,000 miles each way regardless of destination.

With all the frequent devaluations it’s handy that Travel is Free keeps an updated chart.

For this sale Delta doesn’t just not tell us the usual price they neither tell us the sale price nor all the destinations covered.

Choose from these exciting destinations and more:

• Narita
• Haneda
• Nagoya
• Singapore
• Manila
• Taipei
• Hong Kong
• Beijing
• Shanghai

However if sale pricing ‘starts at’ 49,000 miles roundtrip then that’s 30% off at least some North Asia economy redemptions.

Book by December 14 for travel January 10 through March 3, with the following dates blacked out:

  • China to United States: January 10-29, 2017
  • United States to China: February 3-18, 2017

  1. @VVFF They sometimes put business class on sale as well. There was a sale on round-trips in business to the UK next spring a few weeks back.
