There are amazing fares for coach travel on Star Alliance airlines, primarily Air Canada, between several European cities and US cities. Roundtrips originating in Europe start at just $138.
Paris – Toronto Just $138
Paris – Newark Just $146
Dusseldorf – San Francisco Just $194
Similar fares are available London – Philadelphia, Paris – Montreal, London – Toronto, and Paris – Vancouver — perhaps others as well.
Travel appears generally available November through May excluding peak holiday dates.
Book via airfare metasearch site Momondo. While I’m seeing some sub-$200 roundtrips such as London – New York while searching in English, point of sale appears to matter to get the absolute cheapest rates:
Since we don’t know for certain how airlines will feel about such a deep discount airfare sale, whether they might get seller’s remorse, I’d wait a few days after buying tickets before making additional non-refundable travel plans around the fare.
In theory an airline refusing to honor a sale like this would have to reimburse any out of pocket costs you incurred (for US tickets, Canadian rules differ) but there’s not much history with enforcement of that particular DOT statement so I’d still not test it.

The 135 fare is denominated in gbp, not usd.
That’s really a fair deal for a trip to certain cities in Europe.
