Through December 31, Langham Hotels is offering complimentary 1865 Voyager elite status for Visa Infinite cardholders.
The way they verify that you are eligible for the offer is by asking you to input the first six digits of your Visa Infinite credit card. This list of issuer identification numbers from Wikipedia contains 7 different Visa Infinite starting card number options.
The status lasts for 12 months, and normally requires 5 stays in a year to earn but will be renewed after just 2 stays during a year under this offer.
Benefits include 6pm late checkout, a one-category room upgrade each stay, a suite upgrade certificate once per year, complimentary internet, welcome amenities, and a luggage tag.
Langham hotels are in Auckland, Boston, London, Pasadena, Melbourne, Shanghai, Beijing, and Hong Kong.

in Hong Kong twice 🙂
Whoops thanks — they do have more than one hotel there 😛
Thanks Gary!
I signed up two weeks ago when my wife confirmed her business trip. Her firm is paying for 6 nights there…her co-workers will be jealous. 🙂
Called the hotel and they confirmed her status.
Is this not available to existing 1865 members?
I like Langham. I proposed to my wife in the Langhm Place Hong Kong
Any idea about status matches to Langham by other chains with a larger American presence?
Thanks Gary – we love Langham hotels! This worked perfectly.
@redcat255 – other than perhaps best western and maybe club carlson?
Thanks, Gary. Seemed to work. Will hopefully be useful for our trip to New Zealand in March.
Whoa. I live a mile away from a Langham and go there for weekend brunch sometime with the family — didn’t even know they had a loyalty program.
does award wallet not support this program? not finding it…
@milesmaven – i looked and couldn’t find it either. Had to manually create a program to keep track of it. It was posted by a MP member that the loyalty card can double as a keycard as well…guess have to keep that card in a safer place than some of the other cards.
Do you get the luggage tag?
Hey Gary! Thanks for the tip!
The t&c’s state:
“All payment must be made with Visa Infinite Card. Visa Infinite Card needs to be presented upon check-in in order to enjoy the privileges. Langham Hospitality Group reserves the right to withhold the offers if a Visa Infinite card is not presented upon check in.”
Is it reasonable to believe that they will actually require the Visa Infinite upon check-in?
Just checked…they now require 9 digits.
