GIVEAWAY: Would You Like a Free Stay in the Maldives?

Regular readers know that I love the Maldives. I’ve been 5 years in a row. It’s the only place I’ve found where I can really unplug. The distance is a feature not a bug, by the time I get there I’m really ready to relax and the time difference helps me to do it — I can answer work emails in the morning, and everyone is gone from the office the rest of the day so I can just enjoy myself.

I’ve gone to the same place each time, because I could use points, but there are some fantastic properties that I’d love to try some day. One that’s really worth checking out is Loama Resort.

A new property, a 45 minute sea plane from the airport in the capital, this was a Buddhist refuge dating back centuries. Artifacts from the Ching dynasty were unearthed during the construction of the hotel. The property was listed in Conde Nast Traveler Middle East as one of the Best New Hotels in the World.

A beach villa here runs ~ $840 plus taxes. And I’m giving away 3 nights there with breakfast.

The resort looks fantastic, and gets a certificate of excellence from TripAdvisor.

Whether you want to dive, snorkle, spa or just relax this is going to be tough to beat. Combine it with a points stay somewhere else in the country, or drop in on nearby Sri Lanka (flights from Male are cheap and it’s less than 500 miles) and make a bigger holiday of it.

This is a very special giveaway, thanks to my good friends at Luxury Travel Diary. Regular readers know them as a high-end travel blog with great reviews. They’re based in the UK and run travel auctions with real bargains.

As I’ve said before, folks who already know about these auctions don’t like this added attention, because there don’t seem to be enough bidders for many of their best offerings relative to the value available. Some of their items go way too cheap.

This prize is being given away by the hotel and Luxury Travel Diary, I’m just helping to highlight it and randomly select the winner.

To enter: leave a comment on this post with your favorite item up for auction at Luxury Travel Diary, or why you would choose to stay at Loama Resort. You may enter two times if you wish and answer those two questions one time each in separate comments.

Contest deadline and drawing winner: Entries close Sunday, September 4 at Noon eastern. I will draw winner with the assistance of random.org.

The fine print: Advance booking is required and it’s subject to availability. Terms and conditions apply. Winner will have one week to respond to email notifying of the prize, otherwise the prize will be forfeit and made available to another reader.

For avoidance of doubt, I have no affiliation with Luxury Travel Diary or Loama Resort. I am not getting anything in exchange for running this giveaway other than an opportunity to share the place with readers.

The hotel is solely responsible for providing prize to winner. All decisions made in the course of running this giveaway are final and unappealable and your entry signifies your acceptance. The goal here is to make readers aware of a pretty cool auction opportunity, and to give away a stay. So please don’t make it hard on me for doing so!

  19. I completely agree that the Maldives are a wonderful place to detach and the Loama resort looks like the perfect place to do just that!!

  36. Honestly, as a “foodie” who visited Maldives for my honeymoon 10 years ago and got tired of eating at the same restaurant for 3 meals a day for a week, I would really enjoy trying Loama Resort for the fact that it has 6 on-site restaurants… as well as room service!

I would love to stay at an independent hotel like Loama Resort to take in the local culture.

  58. My wife and I have been talking about going to The Maldives for years… if we’re lucky enough to get there, The Loama Resort looks like a great choice!

2 nights at Arnalaya Beach House in Canggu, Bali

  68. As far as favorite ongoing auction, it would have to be The 1)Kata Rocks resort in Phuket, 2) Dream Hotel in Phuket, and 3) Aleenta Phuket Resort & Spa. See a trend? lol

  83. When I first saw it, I was tempted by 2 NIGHTS AT THE CHIC AND STYLISH HOTEL DA VINCI, PARIS because I like the neighborhood. With the Maldives, we are playing closer to even!!

  99. There are a lot of really nice things at Loama, but the cooking classes look especially cool.

  100. Well, the reason I’d love to stay at Loama Resort is the reason you say you love the Maldives, Gary. I’d love to go somewhere I can unplug and truly just relax. Plus, hey, I’ve never been to the Maldives!

  101. Loama Resort seems like a strong contender for a stay in the Maldives because of its exclusivity. It’s relatively far from Male, and due to the small size of the island, the property is also small – making for an experience that might make you feel like you have your own private island!

  102. 3 Nights For 4 Ppl In A Luxury Villa In Koh Samui, Thailand looks like an awesome auction currently at 23 euro!

  103. My favorite item up for auction this time around I think is the 2 night stay at Leed’s Castle in Kent, UK. I mean, who wouldn’t want to stay in a castle? (also considered the Roch Castle in Wales)

  104. “why you would choose to stay at Loama Resort?” – better question would be why would I not, looks fantastic!

  105. I think I would like to try the 5 nights at the Serenissima Boutique Hotel, Crete, Greece. First of all it is long enough to be my entire trip, and it gets great reviews everywhere I looked. Seems amazing, but I’m not sure I could actually afford to go there even were I to get the trip! Too new to collecting miles to fly on points. I can still dream though.

  106. I would stay at the Loama Resort because I have always wanted a nice relaxing beach vacation. 107. My favorite auction item would have to be the Flopz Massaging flip flops. I didn’t even know those existed!

  114. My dream is to go to the Maldives and be able to unplug and soak up the sun. The Loama sounds like the perfect place for that!

  115. Maldives is my wife most wanted to go place, and loama hotel has a nice beach villa is super nice that we really want to go.

  116. Why this resort? Because I too have been to the same place a couple times…actually saw you there once. So I’d like to visit the old (because I love it) and try something new.

  117. My favorite item up for auction would be the “4 NIGHTS IN A POOL VILLA AT THE 5* MILAIDHOO ISLAND MALDIVES”. I was going to pick a castle stay (because who wouldn’t want to stay in a castle!), but the picture of the pool villa beat the castle!

  120. Favoirte item on the auction site: 2 Nights At The Stunning Paresa Resort In Phuket, Thailand

  133. I have always wanted to see the Dolomites. So I like the 3 night package at Hotel Ciasa Salares in the Dolomites, Italy.

  134. Loama villas look so great though. I’d love to be able to wake up on that blue water every morning

  135. I would love to stay at the Loama Resort for 2 reasons: first, it looks absolutely heavenly and second, I would route my flight through Colombo to visit a friend I made on a mileage run to Singapore!

  140. I would love to stay at the Loama because as much as I love traveling the world in style and staying at the best hotels, I am way too cheap to pay $850 a night for a hotel, but the overwater villas are a DREAM of mine! Can’t wait to try these out and enjoy the Maldives!

  183. My favorite place up for auction is 3 NIGHTS AT AKYRA BEACH CLUB PHUKET ON NATAI BEACH. One of my near future trips will be to Phuket. My wife is from Thailand.

I would choose Loama Resort for many reasons. First off, it is in the Maldives! Who doesn’t want to go there! The resort looks gorgeous, has many restaurants, a spa, pool, activities and did I mention it is in the Maldives!

  184. My favorite auctions are anything that has to do with safari, paris, rome, london, or the south pacific. But since you want me to pick just one I will say HÔTEL DA VINCI PARIS.

  185. I would love to stay at the Loama resort, simply to experience the Maldives. And actually, to simply experience a tropical island beach resort for the first time.

  186. The two night stay at Leeds Castle would be a great gift for my Anglophile in laws

  187. I would choose the Hotel Sahrai in Fez, as that would be an amazing opportunity to explore a fascinating city.

  199. The Loama resort looks like pure heaven in the most remote area of the world. Yes please!

  200. I have dreamed about staying at an over the water resort for some time. If I had a free stay, I would consider doing the long trip and would have the money to pay to the plane hopper.

  201. I’ve never stayed in a overwater bungalow and that would be just cool . Plus i really enjoyed my last trip to the Maldives.

  202. I always want to go to Maldives ! The loama resort looks awesome and beautiful! That water villa is amazing!

  206. Never been into Maldives.. Yesterday only saw some amazing pics at instagram… Can’t wait 🙂

  207. Oh, I’d totally love “4 NIGHTS & ALL INC. SPA TREATMENTS AT FUSION MAIA DA NANG” in Vietnam! Granted an hour long foot massage only costs $6 in Thailand, so I’m assuming its the same in Vietnam… but that sounds like a great excuse to go back to Southeast Asia. Granted, the Maldives sound nicer.

  208. The Maldives is definitely on my short list of places to visit. And judging from the photos, Loama seems like an amazing place to stay. I usually stay at tiny hostels on the beach, so getting a luxury hotel would be a wonderful treat. Maybe I’ll win this for my honeymoon…

    🙂

  213. Lazing on a bed just a few feet over the aquamarine blue waters of the Indian Ocean, Dev felt all was right with the world for a change. The Loama Resort wasn’t too far from his hometown, but it might as well have been a world away. None of the stresses of everyday life appeared to have infected this paradise, and certainly none of the bigger problems which took up his mindspace on a daily basis. Just the gentle breeze, the calming blue expanse and gentle snoring of his wife seemed to exist here.

  237. I’d stay at the Loma resort just because it’s in the Maldives. Going there has been a dream of mine to be able to take my wife and relax. I honestly don’t care where we stay and from the photo’s it looks baller there. I just want to get away from the work/stress and get some time to enjoy myself.

  238. Currently my favorite item on the auction site is 2 nights at Cottar’s 1920s Safari Camp, Maasai. Going to Africa to see the amazing wild life is remarkable and one that should not be passed up. This looks like a great offering.

‘4 Nights For 16 At Villa Campo Verde Near Rome, Italy’

  274. Loama Resort is looking damn good, I want to take my girlfriend there so bad, thank for posting 😀

  275. Why I would want to stay at the Loama Resort: Because I want to have a beautiful and relaxing honeymoon with my amazing fiancee in the Maldives!

  290. I’ve been watching Luxury Travel auctions for a while now, sadly haven’t had a chance to take advantage of any of the great specials on the site. Although i have referred many friends to the site. If i had to pick an auction right now to bid on, totally would be the “Roch Castle”. Looks cool and easyish to get to from the states. Plus its a full castle built in 1195!

  291. The Maldives have been on my bucket list, and after seeing the photos of Loama Resort on Luxury Travel Diary, I feel that it would be a visit to paradise! My favorite items for auction currently are in Thailand, specifically the Aleenta Phuket Spa and Beach Resort. I have my eye on that one!

  293. I would love to stay at the Loama Resort. We have never been to past Hawaii. This would be a great 30th anniversary trip for us

  294. The Loama Resort Looks spectacular and I would like to win a trip there. My favorite auction item is the Bali one (although to be honest I’d be happy on any of the trips you offer – they all look wonderful)

  295. My favourite auction item in the Luxury Travel Auction is 2 Nights At Makakatana Bay Lodge In South Africa.

  296. I would go for the TRTL TRAVEL PILLOW – SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN SUPER SOFT NECK SUPPORT.

Just came off a flight and I really could have used it.

  297. My favorite auction item right now is the 2 Nights At Casa De Uco Vineyards & Wine Resort, Argentina. Looks really nice and the price in fantastic.

  298. I’d gladly stay at the Looma Resort as I am not brand loyal when it comes to resorts and this one looks stunning! Maldives has been high on my list and this would be my push to finally make the trip a reality.

  299. Favorite auction item is by far the 3 Nights For 4 Ppl In A Luxury Villa In Koh Samui, Thailand! A dream location and the auction price makes it very realistic.

  300. i have been to maldives and once to loama resort .its worth seeing .no wonder you can find alot of other resorts like vellassaru, anantara, taj and paradise but this is above all.

  301. Love Maldives! Bid and won number of auctions on their site. Stay at the Meridian House in Costa Rica was amazing!

  312. I would choose to stay at Loama Resort because it just seems like the perfect getaway from the busy DC government job I have now. It will allow me to completely unplug!

  313. Great giveaway — thanks! My favorite auction item is probably the four-night stay and all-inclusive spa treatments at Fusion Maia Da Nang in Vietnam.

  314. I would love to stay at the Loama Resort, not only because you recommend it but because Conde Nast Traveler Middle East listed Loama Resort as one of the Best New Hotels in the World. Maldives has been on my bucket list forever and hopefully I can visit one day. I really hope you and The Hotel and Luxury Travel Diary pick me! 🙂

  315. The Maldives is a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. I’d love the chance to stay at the property for three nights.

  316. Maldives is my perfect place on earth.

    Loana looks great

  317. Loama, because it would be the perfect place to celebrate my mom’s retirement. She’d love it there.

  318. I’d stay at the Loama Resort because I have been wanting to take my wife there for about 10 years. I don’t churn or MS so getting the miles to get there and stay there is a long arduous process and this could tip the scales to the finish line. Would love to go!

  319. My wife has been repeatedly sick this year (most recently with pneumonia requiring five day hospitalization). She is on the mend but it would be a miracle to have a chance for a restorative, beach side vacation in a villa, to have a few days of peace and joy. Most attractive on this exciting auction side is the Water Pool Villa at the 5-Star Milaidhoo Island in the Maldives, with direct access to the water and wonderful facilities.

  320. I would love to stay at the Loama Resort because I have always wanted to travel to the beautiful islands in the Indian Ocean, such as the Maldives and the Seychelles

  321. I have always wanted to go to the Maldives. My wife is from India so we have said that we would visit on one of our trips to see her family, but we have not had the opportunity yet. This resort looks incredible and I could definitely see enjoying our time there after wandering the busy streets of Delhi.

  322. I would love to go to the Loama Resort as my wife and I have always dreamed of going to the Maldives. This may be the way to make it happen. Also, another auction that I love is the Kata Rocks luxury resort auction for Phuket!

  323. The most interesting auction I saw was 3 Nights At The Stunning Athina Luxury Suites In Santorini. My wife and I really want to visit the island, and I have never been to Greece. That being said, all of the South Africa auctions also sound pretty amazing.

  324. I have had Maldives on my dream destination for the past 25 years and been unable to make it there still. The Loama Resort looks gorgeous and the thought of being in their beach villas enjoying the blue ocean is beyond inspiring. It seems like a paradise and I’d love to experience that.

  325. I would totally be into two nights at Roch Castle in Pembrokeshire! I went to school in Wales as a child back in the 70s and would love to go back for a visit.

  328. You weren’t kidding; the Asia auctions are such a great value! I’ve been to a lot of the places currently on the list, but not Sri Lanka.

  329. I’d pick Malawi. I had an amazing time in the country in 2012 and would love to go back and see even more. The lake was BEAUTIFUL, and I am sure it still is!

  330. I’d stay at Loama for the peaceful beach atmosphere. Can’t beat the Maldives when it comes to that!!

  331. Luxury Travel Diary is putting on some great auctions and I have my eye on their 4 nights listing with stunning Pool Villa at Fusion Maia Da Nang in Vietnam. That looks like an incredible experience, especially knowing that it is Asia’s first all spa inclusive resort and the auction includes daily breakfast (anytime anywhere) and all your spa treatments for free included. No one else bid on it, coz I’m going to outbid you 😉

  332. My Girlfriend loves Singapore, and wants to visit India now – the Maldives and Loama Resort are the perfect rest-up between Singapore and Mumbai. Can’t wait to enjoy all the Loama Resort has to offer.

  333. I would choose to stay at the Loama resort because the transfers are easier than getting to the Park Hyatt or W

  334. Being retired gives us all the latitude to do what we want when we want – and now that we see all the beautiful pictures and information about the Loama Resort, we want to visit it. Ready to take-off!

  335. I would choose the Loama resort because of its relative ease of access and the over the water bugalows

  336. I know you’ll probably use a randomizer for the draw, but I’ll put this out there anyway: I’d love to book an ocean villa in Loama for a therapeutic reason. We live in Chile now, and ever since the tsunami caused by the 9.2 earthquake in February 2010, when we just happened to be at a beach resort, my husband has been terrified of staying anywhere near the ocean (a move to my hometown of Denver is in the works now, and guess what? No tsunamis!). I did finally, after many years, get him to agree to an over-water stay, but now that we’re two the price (miles/points and cash) is out of reach since we use them for things like visiting family in the US when living in Chile, and visiting family in Chile when living in the US. This would be the best “vacation with benefits” that I can imagine!

  337. I have always wanted to visit the Maldives! I would want to stay at the Loama resort because it looks absolutely beautiful, and I think it would be the perfect place to relax. I have a stressful job, and it would be great to get away to somewhere so remote and peaceful!

  338. The villas at the Loama Resort look amazing – that’s definitely why I would chose to stay there.

  339. I have been looking for a great reason to got to Sri Lanka and this auction location would help make the trip easier!
3 Nights For Up To 4 Guests At Gal Oya Lodge In Sri Lanka

I would love to win your giveaway!

  340. I would choose to stay at the Loama Resort because it sounds so relaxing and as you indicated, a complete getaway that can really make me unplug. Thank you for offering this contest and I sure hope I am lucky enough to win!

  341. The Loama Resort would allow us to unhook from the world for awhile enjoying the spa, the 6 restaurants, the scenery and the tranquility! We would treasure this experience at this point our lives!!

  342. Would love to go back to the Maldives and stay at a luxury resort this time instead of a budget one!

  343. Definitely the Loama Resort. An overwater bungalow is the coolest lodging I’ve ever experienced!

  344. Loama Resort because it appears to be a place that I could go and truly not worry about work stuff :).

  345. 4 Nights In A Pool Villa At The 5* Milaidhoo Island Maldives

I always have read great reviews and feedback about Maldives. Would love to have the opportunity to visit there.

  346. The auctions at Luxury Travel Diary are amazing, especially the 2 Nights At Rhino River Lodge, KwaZulu Natal, South Africa.

  347. Loama Resort – With Trip advisor and Conde Nest claiming this to be one of the hottest and upcoming hotel, I would love to see what the deal is at this location.

Conjoin with the auction would be a fantastic week vacation.

  348. Luxury travel diary covers to globe. Can take advantage of auctions near and far – love it! Just bid on Uco…

  360. Thanks to the fabulous advice from you and your blogging colleagues I’ve been able to visit Vietnam, Cambodia, Bora Bora, Eastern Europe, Iceland and more. To be able to stay in the Maldives at a gorgeous resort built from a Buddhist refuge? Well, that’s just about perfect! Count me in!

  361. I no longer have to worry about looking for a place at the end of the earth – Gary found it for me at Loama Resort. Now all I have to do is figure out one of those tricky routes with my frequent flyer miles!!

  362. And for less than the price of a decent dinner in the nation’s capitol, I can have 3 nights at AAVA Resort and Spa in Khanom, Thailand from Luxury Diary. Hey, there might even be some left over for a spa treatment if I factor in Uber to the restaurant and back. Let me check on those Cathay Pacific business class miles that I need.

  382. This is the very same hotel that me and my wife were dreaming. Could not put together the budget so went to Capetown instead. We still dream Maldives.

  413. I ways wanted to stay over the water, and would love snorkel at loama!! This would be a dream come true!!

  414. The crown lanta resort and spa in koh lanta, Thailand looks lovely on the auction site! Thailand is another place I would love to visit someday!

  415. I’ve never been to that part of the world where the Loama resort, beach and dining looks absolutely wonderful. Thanks for the potential offer

  449. Thanks for the info, Gary! I would totally stay at the Pool Villa at the Milaidhoo Island in the Maldives. My wife would go absolutely bonkers for it. I didn’t even know stuff like that existed outside of movies until I started following your posts a few months back. Thanks again!

  450. The resort seems like a wonderful place to relax and get away from the busyness of urban life!

  451. Right now my favorite prize is the 3 nights at Fort Bazaar Galle Town House Hotel, Sri Lanka. Also looking at the other Sri Lanka properties as I am going to be in Southern India next week for a while and contemplating a long weekend in Sri Lanka!

  452. Definitely the auction at Fort Bazaar Galle in Lanka! I’ve never been but had several cousins of mine compete there for swimming and rowing competitions. It looks gorgeous!

  453. My favorite auction on Luxury Travel Diary is the 2 Nights At Villa La Tosca 5-Star Villa Hotel In France…my husband and I spent our honeymoon in France last year roaming the countryside and we couldn’t have loved it any more! Our second part of our honeymoon (six months later) was spent in the Maldives…I’ll get to why Loama Resort in the next post!!

  455. I’d love to return to Morocco, I had a connecting flight there as a teen but 20 years on I’d love to stop and visit.

  456. We stayed at the aspirational Conrad in the Maldives, but we opted to leave a day early and spend it seeing Male. I know this place gets a bad rep, but it was definitely a much welcomed change of scenery getting to see people in their daily lives. We are also history buffs so we stopped by the National Museum in Male and it was surprising to see for such remote little islands how so many different cultures had influenced theirs through exchange, including the Chinese. Hence, Loama would be a great place to stay not only for the amazing sea life (we snorkeled about 10 times the 4 days were in at the Conrad) but also for the history!

  457. I would love to stay at that resort or any in Maldives just to get away from the rigors of law school.

  458. Who wouldn’t want to stay at Loama Resort where you can fall out of bed into a a pool off your suite. Sounds like heaven and I would love to go and be unplugged for a few days. Also really impressed they are licensed by Maldivian Department of Heritage to operate a museum. As a culture and museum “nut” I would be sure to take the museum tour conducted by the resort’s Culture and Heritage team!

  459. Would love to visit the Maldives as a first anniversary trip for my wife and I! Thanks so much for the promotion.
    –S

  460. I’d like to stay at the Sleeping Giant in Belize because we have a Sleeping Giant (mountain) here in Helena.

  461. Would be great to try an independent property in the Maldives. The pictures of Loama Resort are breathtaking!

  462. I’d love to stay at the Loama for the opportunity to have a luxurious stay in total seclusion. The ocean water is bluer than the pool water!

  463. I hadn’t heard of the Loama Resort before you posted this, Gary, but the Maldives is on my list of places to go before I die. Having looked at their website and some of the photos posted there and by others online, I will have to give serious consideration to staying there, regardless of whether my post gets selected or not.

    Thanks for the opportunity.

  473. My favorite auction item is 5 Nights For Up To 5 At Villa Koru, Koh Samui, Thailand, because I have exactly 4 friends in my life and they have all forgotten their wallets back in Koh Samui, Thailand, and they need to go back there to get them.

  474. Just can’t wait to hit Loama Resort. Between here and there – it’s in no place – and that means r-e-l-e-a-x-a-t-i-o-n uninterrupted!

  475. Looks lovely – haven’t been to the Maldives for 10 years since our honeymoon so would love to go back.

  476. I love the Maldives, and by proxy I’m sure I’d love to stay at the Loama. I’ve simply never felt, in all my other travels, the feeling of sheer remoteness that I felt stepping off the seaplane onto the tiny island adrift in the middle of the Indian Ocean; priceless. It’s also the only place I’ve ever been able to truly unplug, and relax.

  477. Loama looks lovely – haven’t been to the Maldives for 10 years since our honeymoon so would love to go back.

  478. I’ve been to the Maldives before – it is truly a unique and beautiful archipelago. I hadn’t heard of the Loama Resort before. However, it looks like a wonderful place. The overhead view of the resort with the beautiful lagoon and surrounding reef brought a big smile to my face. 🙂 It truly looks like a “stunning natural tapestry of sun-kissed lagoons”. I would love to visit someday and enjoy dinner on the beach.

  481. My favorite auction item on Luxury Travel Diary is “3 Nights At The Serene Aava Resort & Spa In Khanom, Thailand”.

  482. I’ve always wanted to visit Thailand, and the 6 Nights at the Crown Lanta Resort looks just about perfect.

  483. The auction item is very attractive to me is 3 nights at Fort Bazaar Galle Town House Hotel, Sri Lanka, because its also closer to Maldives!

  484. My top choice for the auction would be Loama Resort. It’s a world away from my reality life and could totally forget about chemo treatments every 5 weeks for stage 4 lung cancer. Looks like a total dream!

  485. I would love to bid on the hotel nights in koh samui. Who doesn’t love the Maldives? I would love to relax by the beach at this resort.

  486. My favorite item up for auction is the 3 nights in a stylish beachspoke cottage retreat in Cornwall. My wife and I love the scenes of the rustic Cornwall coast. The opportunity to live for a few days like Doc Martin would be irresistible. Indeed, from the cottage we would visit nearby Port Isaac (Portwenn on the Doc Martin TV series) to feel like we are part of the set for our all-time favorite TV series. We would also try an early morning kayaking trip along the Cornish coast to see oystercatchers, guillemots, gulls, and other local sea birds. And, of course, we would try a local seafood house.

  491. The “4 Nights In A Pool Villa At The 5* Milaidhoo Island Maldives” is something that I’d love to win. It looks like something straight out of a travel magazine: pristine waters, bungalow, and just the right amount of seclusion from the hectic world.

  492. My favorite auction is the 3 night stay at the Riad Palais Amani in Fez, Morocco. I have always wanted to visit this part of the world and this auction could put that within reach due to the great deal.

  493. I would love to take my wife to the Loama resort in Maldives to celebrate the birth of our first child. A present for all the discomfort and sacrifice she’s made for the last 8+ months.

  494. I would choose to stay at Loama Resort because it’s off the beaten path and not super popular with points junkies!

  495. My favorite item up for bid on Luxury Travel Diary is “2 Nights at Rhino River Lodge” in South Africa – would love to win this one!

  507. My favorite item for action is definitely the 4 nights at the Luxurious Karawan Riad Hotel in Fez, Morrocco

  508. I would choose to stay at Loama Resort because the place looks absolutely stunning and also because the Maldives are on my bucket list for so long and it would be wonderful to go there with my future husband.

  509. My favorite item up for auction at Luxury Travel Diary is 4 nights & All Inc. Spa Treatments at Fusion Maia Da Nang.

  517. The Loama Resort looks amazing. I also have trouble unwinding and it looks like a place one can truly relax. It’s been a dream to go to the Maldives since I did a couple of layovers on my way to Colombo. It was so painful to have to stay on the plane!

  518. My wife and I would like to stay at the Beachspoke Cottage Retreat In Cornwall featured on the luxury travel diary site – we’re hoping to visit next year.

  519. I’ve never been to the Maldives, and staying at the Loama Resort looks like a pretty great place to be!
