Note that the Airbus A380 of course has Air France’s older first class cabin if that matters to you.
Since these are one ways, if you prefer your destination to be Paris consider just getting off there. Throwaway tickets always present the risk or challenge that in the event of irregular operations (eg Air France cancels the flight) they may decide to put you on a different routing, for instance buying you a non-stop on British Airways to London. It’s worth reading up on the usefulness and risks of throwaway ticketing.

Google flights show availability, but when you go forward the price jumps to around $9,000. Wierd.
Dude, I do NOT know what you are talking about. I go to http://www.airfrance.us and put in SFO to PAR, and get $9k for a La Premier seat

Gary, in my haste to book I accidentally entered my first and last name backwards on one of my AF tickets. Am i out of luck here?

I snagged it. Gone in a matter of minutes around 10am ET. We’ll see if it is honored… ticket status is confirmed.
