  1. Wheel chairs are the responsibility of the airport and like handicap parking they are abused by those who do not need them making it difficult for those who do to get the services they need

There needs to be fines for the abuses.

  2. I’m not a big alcohol drinker so a $28 beer at the airport is not big deal. But man, if you need a beer that bad you pay $28 for it? I think you need serious help.

  3. Have you tried *cough* not *cough* buying *cough* overpriced shit? The ‘free market’ will sort it out.

  4. @Tomri this wheelchair issue was not about the airline-provided wheelchair at the airport. It’s his own motorized chair they’re not bringing him, so he’s totally immobilized with no control. What a horrible feeling that must be.

  5. If you’re spending $27 for a case of beer then you’re drinking really crappy beer.

Answering your question about the feet up in the air on a flight, it’s because the person’s brain needs more blood flow as illustrated by the fact that they’re doing this.

  6. @ 27. beer is not so bad , considering there is a hotel in LA with an $ 18. doughnut .

At least the beer is good for your health .

  7. Interesting that you name & blame the airport but not the merchant which actually charges the $27 for beer. That, at least, might be useful information for some readers, as well as maybe causing the merchant to reconsider.
