Generally speaking involuntary denied boarding rules apply not just to when an airline cannot accommodate you on board, but also to when they cannot accommodate you in your ticketed class of service. You may wish to take a different flight rather than travel coach (even if it isn’t right away) or you might prefer to take your original flight and reach your destination faster. NFL’s Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones Arrested After Forcing United Flight To Return To Gate

Airport police were called shortly after 6 a.m. after United Airlines 1195 flight crew reported an unruly passenger. He was charged with disorderly conduct, intoxication, and making terroristic threats. Apparently seat power was inoperative at his seat and that’s when the ruckus began.

Jones says that had purchased two seats, so he could have extra space. He asked to be moved so he could have access to seat power.

JetBlue To Court: Don’t Let Government “Switch Positions” In Anti-Trust Trial

The federal government argued that JetBlue is an important competitor to keep independent, in part for its low prices and for the passenger demand that it stimulates, when they wanted to break up the carrier’s partnership with American Airlines. JetBlue was the antidote to major airlines, and wanted to keep them from being co-opted.

Now, JetBlue says in court, the government shouldn’t be allowed to switch positions as it seeks to prevent them from acquiring Spirit Airlines.

Cabin Eggs On Flight Attendant To Open Lavatory Door While Passengers Join Mile High Club

Video emerged over the weekend of an easyJet flight in Europe where everyone realized that two passengers had gone into a lavatory together at the rear of the aircraft and were probably joining the Mile High Club.

The cabin egged on a flight attendant to open the door to the lav. And after enough cheering, he finally did it, showing the whole cabin that the passengers were, indeed, in the midst of the act. Realizing they were exposed, they quickly shut the door, while passengers cheered (and filmed).
