Delta Air Lines U-Turn Emergency: “We Had Diarrhea All The Way Through The Airplane”

Delta Air Lines flight 194 form Atlanta to Barcelona turned around Friday night after a passenger let loose diarrhea throughout the aircraft. The Airbus A350 was two hours into its flight to Spain when a pilot told air traffic control about a “biohazard issue” that necessitated an immediate u-turn.

The flight was over Virginia when the airline told the pilots to turn back. Passengers returned to Atlanta and waited while Delta cleaned the aircraft and found a new crew.

There’s Nothing Irresponsible About Missing A Flight

If you’ve never missed a flight you’re spending too much time in airports, although admittedly there are flights where arriving late has real consequences – either because of the importance of a meeting on arrival, or because of limited connecting options. Contra this fast-spreading claim on social media, there’s nothing inherently irresponsible about missing a flight.

American Airlines Had A Terrible Customer Service Day Across Its Operation On Saturday

It begins with Saturday’s 4 p.m. American Airlines flight 2333 from Phoenix to Newark which was delayed overnight, with a new 6 a.m. Sunday departure time, after confusion over seat assignments on board led to a group of passengers being removed from the aircraft. Ultimately everyone was deplaned as part of the passenger removal – a common technique post the United Airlines David Dao beating – as a way of avoiding confrontation with a single passenger.

Passenger Commandeered Emergency Exit Space For Most Of 14 Hour Flight

A women brought her baby into the wide open extra row space of a widebody jet to calm down the child. She needed the space to bounce up and down, which isn’t something she could do at her own seat in coach. And she posted video online.

Reality TV Star Shamed For Her Attire By Southwest Airlines Flight Attendant

Seven-time competitor on television’s “American Ninja Warrior” Maggi Thorne flew Southwest Airlines from Omaha to Orlando and reports being “shamed” by a flight attendant over her attire. The crewmember let her know that her tank top and “high waisted pants” weren’t appropriate in public. She was on a flight to Florida, though!
