Passengers aboard an American Airlines flight from Dallas to Minneapolis on December 7 were flooded out by a water leak from the rear lavatory. Video from inside the Boeing 737-800 cabin shows water streaming down the aisle.
According to a passenger on board, the issue began after someone used the lav. No one could stop the water flow. The situation was “chaotic” with passengers lifting their feet and retrieving belongings from the floor to avoid contact with the “disgusting” lav water. I’m reminded that some of you go barefoot on planes, even walking to the lavatory.

Last year, a Delta Air Lines flight from Atlanta to Barcelona had to turn around after a passenger let loose diarrhea all the way through the aircraft.
Passengers returned to Atlanta and waited while Delta cleaned the aircraft and found a new crew. They were sent on their way using the same plane a few hours later. Video showed the inside of the aircraft.
Then an American Airlines flight from Delhi became a biohazard as a lavatory sink overflowed with human waste. The airline kept flying this way for “10+ hours” of the 17-hour flight after “4 lavatories flooded with sewage.”
Meanwhile, an Alaska Airlines flight flooded with four inches of lavatory water and United offered 5,000 miles of compensation after a lavatory flood ruined a passenger’s laptop.
I knew this was VFTW as soon as I saw the the river of poop.
That is potable water, not toilet water. The toilets have no water in them. A squirt of potable water rinses the bowl and it goes into the waste holding tank. Nothing comes UP and OUT of that tank. What is shown in this photos is that.
*NOT waste water in this photo.
This country IS going to shit…

Yeah, not possible. Aircraft toilets and sinks are not plumbed together like in a house. What goes in the sink, goes out a drain mast.
Whoever reported this, doesn’t know what they are talking about. I’d even go as far as saying they are full of shit.

passenger let loose diarrhea all the way through the aircraft . . . does that mean the aircraft was literally full of loose stools? Like crammed full? That would probably exceed the load factor of the 737-800. That, Sir, a great deal of fine, flowing manure.
