  2. I would have thought that United would care about safety given that they’re a passenger airline but seemingly not so much.

    The Belarus article is dead on correct. The U.S. has been unwilling to take a harsh stance with authoritarian regimes over law and human rights for pretty much this whole century while ignoring that our adversaries only grow emboldened when we do so. It’s time to acknowledge that the Cold War never went away but just took a breather. As a result of ignoring international realities our efforts to belatedly rein in radically unacceptable behavior by totalitarian regimes has become vastly more difficult.

  3. So Country X requires Crew to be Vax . Crew can not do a layover or leave plane into Country X thus Untied will then have to exclude Crew from working those flights. USA may not be able to force employee to get Vax. but Country X can force Crew to work the crap flights and not work the LAX…SYD flights etc.
