Since tonight it’s just the two of us, I thought I’d give away money.
I’ve got a $100 gift card, and will select a winner at random tomorrow out of those who comment by Noon Eastern on Sunday.
In case you’re looking for something amusing to occupy yourself between Saturday evening and Sunday morning, there is no limit to the number of times you may enter. You can comment as many times you wish, each comment is an entry.
Just chat away, share whatever thoughts you wish. All decisions and rulings made by me are final and unappeallable. By entering you waive any right to sue for or otherwise claim damages. Please don’t give me a hard time when I am trying to give away money or its equivalent. Thank you!

I’ve read much on View from the Wing to help me have a fantastic year – a gap year – 25 years later.
30 more minutes!!
Enjoy your Sunday everyone!
And now it’s time to find a home after flying and staying mostly all over the world at posh places on points and miles.
And on that note, I am off to go and enjoy the breakfast buffet which comes with the Hyatt Diamond status here because of what I read about challenges, http://viewfromthewing.com/2014/05/13/can-top-tier-hyatt-diamond-member-little-effort/
Hi there
Never posted on this site, but giving it a shot for the $100.
@Wembleygal Oh yes, I have many (all?) of my friends who say–“You can keep all that straight? I couldn’t.”
The collection of points and miles started a long time ago in a small way, and then I decided to go full out…. so that I could have my mid-life crisis in a non-traditional way, fly everywhere in First Class to see old friends of yore.
Most people really do sell their abilities short.
Sounds like MaryE could start a blog on traveling the world on points and miles.
Or they’re really just scared to try new things.
This is the first year I finally got a grasp of how I can use points and awards to my advantage with just a little research, travel savvy, timing, and luck.
Your blog and recommended blogs have helped give me a better understanding. Now only if I did this two years ago.
With Gary here to guide us, how can you not try for the good life on cheap money!
Just made it!
Why does my comment say “waiting moderation?”
The year isn’t quite over yet, and job starts early August, and the grand finale will be back with my friends in So CA celebrating the end of the year of madness, and welcoming in other ways to gather more points and miles.
@theBOAT How close were your sign-ups for the bonuses?
I’m moving to an area filled with festivals and fun. Sounds like the area will keep my attention for quite a while, and with the Hyatt Regency Monterey and the Hyatt Carmel Highlands… well,
i wonder if my post will count as an entry
Husband very sad that he didn’t get Stan Lee’s autograph today …
it’s time to start gathering more points and miles so that I can stay there during the school breaks, or if a friend comes to visit..
What’s your best experience for receiving award tickets to Bora Bora?
Wow, what an education on this site. I had to google airbnb–didn’t know what you guys were talking about.
and now, really, I am very hungry for my breakfast. So, I bid you adieu, and well wishes for the day.
Good luck to all!
@Jonnie – yes, it makes me very sad.
Your must see places in Melbourne and Sydney and Hong Kong?
Thanks for the fun facts everyone!
Ha, more readers than you thought–way too many for a meaningful comment thread! Since I’m just under the wire I had to jump in…
Yes, indeed – good luck to all !!!
At least he picked up a Creature from the Black Lagoon money bank …
gotto go
Sat. night. I’m volunteering
@Wembleygal Well, I figure they can just watch me take trips and marvel, if even with sites like this to help them, it’s too much trouble for them to do.
Last chance!
Almost noon
@Wembleygal What can you do? You can only lead a horse to water, you can’t make him drink! Right?
I must remember to call my credit cards next week and tell them that I am going out of the country. I have had my credit card skimmed twice — both in the UK (where I live).
