Each month they offer double points on the 1st for spending with their co-brand credit card. All non-rent spend doubles, and that doesn’t mean just an extra point. Dining earns 3 points per dollar with their card, so earns 6 points per dollar on the first. Travel earns 2 points normally, so earns 4 points on the first.
Bilt’s monthly Rent Day deals have been revealed, and this month they have an offer on Virgin cruises; a Blade helicopter party; fine dining access at a discount; along with the usual double points on their credit card, SoulCycle offers and a game show to win cash for rent.
I really like the dining deals. I prefer when they have 100%+ transfer bonuses to airlines and status deals. But you don’t get those every month!
Bilt is back! The last few Rent Day deals have been great for some members, but not up the alley of the miles, points, and status crowd. For July Rent Day, it’s one for us, plus the start of a new monthly aspirational deal for foodies too (and yes, the usual offers like points trivia, free rent giveaways, and double points for spending on the Bilt Mastercard are back too).
A year ago Bilt Rewards added a card-linked dining program that let you earn points at participating restaurants whenever paying with a card linked to your Bilt account (it didn’t have to be Bilt’s own co-brand credit card). They were only in larger cities, but the curated lists of restaurants was outstanding.
Now they’ve done a couple of deals to hugely expand their presence to around 20,000 more restaurants in what they call their Neighborhood Dining program.
Bilt Rewards has added Hilton Honors as a transfer partner. Just like with their addition of Marriott as a transfer partner in the fall, it doesn’t add much to the program. It’s not that Hilton Honors points aren’t valuable, it’s that everything at Hilton is inflated by a factor of three or four – on both the earning and the redemption side – and that balances out fine except when transferring points 1:1. (Bilt requires a 2,000 point minimum transfer for base members, and 1,000 points for elites.) First transfers from Bilt to Hilton through June 8th receive 1,000 bonus Hilton points. That’s worth about $4, and doesn’t make up for 1:1 simply not being a worthwhile transfer ratio to Hilton. Crockfords, Las Vegas Bilt points now transfer to all of the major U.S.-based hotel…
The Bilt Mastercard stands out as a unique rewards card, enabling users to earn points on rent payments without any fees, alongside lucrative multipliers for dining and travel. Bilt Rewards has just added Alaska Airlines as a 1:1 transfer partner. And this spring they will launch earning triple Alaska Airlines miles when paying rent through Bilt with an Alaska Airlines Visa
Signature card. So you’ll earn 3 Alaska miles per dollar on rent – for a fee. Plus this makes it possible to even earn Alaska Airlines elite status just by paying rent.
Bilt Rewards and American AAdvantage are ending their partnership in June. That means it will no longer be possible to transfer Bilt points to American, although the exact last date in (presumably late) June for transfers is not yet certain.
Bilt Rewards has been promising new elite benefits and they’ve just announced two new elements of their Platinum status: dedicated support, and Air France KLM Flying Blue Gold status. Both of these benefits launch February 29.
The first of each month is ‘Rent Day’ with Bilt Rewards, and they offer several promotions – some of which have been the best one day offers we’ve seen like transfer bonuses up to 150% to Air Canada, Air France KLM, and Virgin Atlantic.
With March Madness coming they’ve created a bracket to determine the primary offer for this upcoming Rent Day, March 1st.
