Rapper Sexyy Red and her entourage engaged in a brawl at Newark airport on Saturday, and she was arrested. Red was named a breakout artist of last summer by Billboard on the heels of her single “Pound Town” (with Tay Keith) and “Pound Town 2” (with Nicki Minaj).

Security footage shows a group of men tussling before the rapper enters the frame, brandishing a metal pole. But before she could use it, another individual intervened, causing her to lose her balance and fall to the ground.

No Refunds! Renaissance Newark Hotel Guests Told ‘Don’t Shower’ Due to Legionella Outbreak

For months, the Renaissance Newark Airport has been dealing with Legionnaire’s Disease in its water system. The hotel remains open – telling guests not to shower.

They continue to take bookings – and enforce their cancellation policy. One guest was told they wouldn’t be able to shower – a hotel room doesn’t include full use of the room! – and they didn’t want to stay. There are plenty of other hotels nearby, where the room rate includes use of the shower. The hotel’s answer? They’d still have to pay.

United Passenger Extorted For Bribe At Newark Airport Check-In Counter

Most checked bags in the U.S. are limited to 50 pounds. Anything heavier than that and you’ll pay extra. First and business class passengers, and those with elite status, may be allowed 70 pounds. When you approach the check-in counter, they’ll weigh your bags, and if your luggage is overweight you’ll be assessed an extra fee.

However it’s not always so simple. There’s an unspoken cat and mouse game between airline employees and passengers.

$18,000 Ticket to Nowhere: United Airlines Pilot Grounds 1K Passenger for Foul Language

A United Airlines pilot who flies Boeing 757 and 767 aircraft kicked a top MileagePlus elite passenger off of a cross country flight from Newark to San Francisco and shared the story to social media.

The captain had gone up to the gate for paperwork and overheard this ‘1K’ customer cursing at the gate agent prior to boarding at Newark airport.

Three former United Airlines executives engaged in a bribery scheme involving renovations at Newark airport. They accepted bribes from a maintenance and construction company to secure a restroom renovation project.

In exchange they received renovations to their own homes, electronics and jewelry and total bribes over $1.2 million. They steered the business to the most expensive contractor, who submitted a two page bid in comparison to dozens of pages for competing contractors. Then the employees inflate contract change orders to help the company recoup its bribe expenses.

He demanded to be flown to New York. The end result was LaGuardia airport.
