Still a no-go here in Kuala Lumpur….
Any insights into what the cause was?
Still no access to FT from down under.
No joy in Thailand.
Nothing in Thailand.
Still no access from Hong Kong either, so it clearly isn’t really fixed in any meaningful sense.
Still down down under 🙁
How can you say no joy when you are in Thailand lovtofly3?
FT still down in the TG lounge in BKK.
…and now nada in Singapore.
Another day and FT is still down, down under.
Now in India and still no FlyerTalk other than through my Blackberry via RIM in Canada. Does IBB even realize they are down out here?
Still out in Thailand, Monday, 6:50am
Well, it’s working fine here on the west coast of the US.
And the cause for the outage, according to a sticky post in the UA (and presumably other) forum:
“Flyertalk has experienced intermittent website outages caused by a cyber-attack. Our troubleshooting team has resolved the issue, and the site should now be functioning normally. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and apologize for the inconvenience caused by this attack.”
Well would someone who can reach them please tell them that they are wrong and that the site is not accessible from most of the world? It’s still out in Hong Kong, and I haven’t seen any report indicating that it is visible outside North America.
I had it in Singapore for a while, then got on a flight to Narita. Now nothing again. Frustrating…
I could access FlyerTalk most of the weekend from here in the UK but now (Monday 11.20am) it’s inaccessible again.
Was up in Thailand a few hours ago. Now down again.
Still no email alerts re new comments, here.
I’m not impressed with the “skills” of Internet Brands. Attack or not, they are really poor at dealing with it.
FT is well and truly hacked at the moment.
