  1. RE NY Public Library offers free access to $20,000 Bloomberg News terminals.

Yowza! This is old news – like literally >2 DECADES ago Bloomberg News terminals became available for free use at what was then called the Science, Industry & Business Library, or “SIBL.”

I used them regularly when I wrote columns & created data reports for PlaneBusiness Banter, 1999-2004.

  2. Remember the Bloomberg terminals that were at LGA Marine Air Terminal back in the days of the Delta Shuttle flights being more convenient than the train? I still miss the massive free newsstand and the free Bloomberg terminals.

  3. Went to Hawaii on vacation. It was much less expensive to fly to the west coast and then on to the islands than to travel from AUS. No surprise that route is being axed.
