- After $82K Pittsburgh airport cash seizure, woman takes TSA to court
Institute for Justice attorney Dan Alban argued that Congress authorized the TSA only to search for and seize items that pose a threat to airline security. He said the agency’s secret operating policies go beyond that authority by directing TSA employees to take extra steps when they encounter large amounts of cash….“TSA screeners are not law enforcement officers, and the TSA is not authorized to conduct general criminal investigation,” he said.

As best I can tell about the $82k is that the suit is to get the government to stop making such seizures however there have been cases before that have not caused that to happen. It is like large amounts of cash is a drug to law enforcement.
Hopefully, this ultimately results in airports, stadiums, and other quasi-public infrastructure losing all of their naming. Which would not be a bad thing.
Don’t forget we will still need things to name after his drag queen VP and second ever gay speaker of the house (RIH Denny Hastert).

Oh wow, a judge? My stars. Yeah, we’re pretty used to single district judges drunk with power usurping executive branch authority by now. Every single trump executive action is stopped by a judge shopping activist who finds one wacko leftist judge that will issue a wide ranging injunction, only to be eventually overturned on appeal. Still, governing becomes impossible, and the will of the people (you know, that thing called democracy you like to harp about) to implement what they voted for is eroded.
There have been more injunctions against trump than all previous presidents combined. This is their plan. It’s time for POTUS to ignore all rulings not from SCOTUS. Individual district judges do not have power over the entire executive branch.

One thing for sure is he had trust funds and an inheritance from daddy that we didn’t have. I would not be the least bit surprised that, had I received such a head start, I’d likely be richer than DJT pre-presidency by simply investing the funds in a SP500 etf.

Naming an airport after a guy who keeps crashing things is just another bad idea. Especially when that guy was so thrilled that 9/11 meant he could say he had the tallest building in the area as soon as the Twin Towers went down.
Isn’t David Shepardson a DC-area reporter? Doesn’t he have a clue about how much better Dulles Airport has been during the last several years than it used to be?
I have my own issues with IAD, but it’s a lot better than it used to be; and I no longer find IAD to be much worse than say the primary international airport for London, Paris and many other primary capital city airports.

doesn’t matter what DL does or doesn’t have at IAD.
Has to do with 47’s practice at the Kennedy Center of shutting down a perfectly good venue to turn it into a trophy to himself.
DL would be crazy to leave IAD B unless forced to. It’s the nicest terminal at IAD (until the new one opens). It’s also much more convenient than the UA gates. IAD is my least favorite UA hub.
As for the Tiny Hands and Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts…the only reason why it is being closed for renovation is because nearly every performance pulled out of the venue for the 2026 season and Dear Leader’s ego could not take that. The result…”we’re closing for renovations.” Honestly, it’s like watching Voldemort and his army of dark wizards take over.
