  2. What’s so impressive about bending a titanium shaft?

    While titanium is stronger than other normally used metals it is usually used to make items of equal strength but less weight.

    And nobody builds a suitcase with a shaft strong enough to stand up to the thumping luggage gets if it’s extended like that.
