Washington National Airport: 6 Year Old’s Badger On The Loose

A Southwest ramp agent saved Christmas for a little girl who lost her teddy bear in Detroit’s airport last year.

Now the Washington National airport twitter team is on a similar mission, coming out with what the Washington Post called an ‘important alert’.

Of course since this is twitter not everyone is helpful. Some suggested the animal looks like a foreigner and is probably held in ICE detention, not realizing that there’s no regular customs facility at Washington National airport with the only inbound international flights coming from airports with preclearance facilities. And of course there’s the inevitable Badgers? We don’t need no stinkin’ badgers!.

C’mon @AmericanAir I haven’t seen a re-tweet yet, let’s help this little girl!
