News and notes from around the interweb:
- United plans to power planes with “Food Scraps, Animal Fat & Farm Waste” which sounds better than using those for inflight catering, right?
- The Americans that Chose Cuban Med School
- What is that familiar airplane smell, really? (HT: Alan H.)
- India won’t allow its airlines to charge for checked bags (HT: Road Warrior Voices)
- I was back on television this morning talking about airfare prices, baggage and other fees, and the DOJ’s investigation of possible airline collusion to restrict capacity.
- $500 off the W Hotel bed
How come you are always on Fox News? just asking….
That explains why I never see Gary on TV. I never watch Fox News.
@Dude26 well, I’ve recently been on Russian TV America. And I was scheduled to be on MSNBC on Thursday, but coverage of the Navy Yard shooting bumped me (I was sitting in the chair ready to go, but their coverage ran over and I couldn’t wait because I had booked my next TV interview). Although I was on MSNBC a few weeks ago.
I’ve been on CNN, the Colbert Report (Comedy Central), Good Morning America and ABC World News Tonight.
I’ve been on Fox News Happening Now several times (Executive Producer is a miles and points fan) and Americas News HQ (fill-in host today is also a miles/points fan). Those are the only two Fox News shows I’ve been on, though I was once on Fox Business (late last year or early this).
