100 Free American Airlines Miles for Enrolling with their Shopping Portal

The American AAdvantage online shopping portal is running a promotion with the following bonuses:

  • 100 miles for enrolling in the shopping portal between January 21 and February 3 and remaining opted-in to receive marketing emails until the bonus posts.
  • 300 bonus miles if you make a purchase through the shopping portal during that time period.
  • 600 more bonus miles if you make a second purchase through the shopping portal during that time period and the purchase is for $100 or more.

Sign up here if you aren’t already registered with AAdvantage eShopping to pocket the free 100 miles (and more if you actually use the portal).

Of course, this portal may or may not be the best for any given transaction, I generally consult EV Reward before buying anything online to see which mileage or cash back online mall offers the best deal on the store I’m going to make a purchase from.

  1. Was able to use my wife’s AA as she didn’t have an account with the shopping portal. Made a quick order I needed anyway from drugstore.com via shop runner with free shipping for the 100+300 then if I need something over the $100 by 2-3-13 I’ll run it through there for another 600 AA miles plus my credit card points/miles.
    Thanks.

  2. This is a family blog, so I can’t post what I think of the AAdvantage shopping mall. Lets just say that they still, one year later, owe me 10K miles, that they promised to post to my account. Until they didn’t, and then they stopped responding to my emails, and there is no phone number to call them, and AA says they are an independent business and AA has no responsibility for them, and….

I will never deal with these people again, and if you do, good luck !

  3. I had opened up a Citi Amex American Airlines card few months back, through which if I spend $1 or more on AA or on AA.com, I get a $100 credit. Will any purchase I make through AA Shopping portal count towards it? Thanks!
