New and notes from around the interweb:
- After racking up 21 million miles on United, Tom Stuker’s favorite place to go is “home.”
- “I didn’t study for my organic chem final, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night” Cities put the homeless up in hotels, here’s one college doing the same for freshmen.
- Be careful when buying domestic Canadian flights on Air Canada that you’re being charged in Canadian dollars and not being quoted more expensive price in US dollars!
- Hong Kong actor Andy Lau spotted flying economy
- “Montana Psychiatrist Arrested for Hosting Underground “Emotional Support Animal Fights”” (Satire, HT: Paul H.)
- Currently Uber Eats delivery of Starbucks is available in New York, DC, Boston, Chicago, Miami, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles and Orange County, San Francisco Bay Area, and Seattle. That’s one use for the 22% Uber Eats discount I shared and of course it’s also a way to use the Platinum Card® from American Express $200 annual Uber credit since the delivery partnership expands nationwide next year. If the Chinese market is any indication Starbucks delivery could be huge.
- Passengers behaving… not badly.
Fascinating video showing passengers disembarking a @Westjet flight one row at time. This is an oil rig employee charter flight from Calgary to Fort MacKay/Firebag in northern Alberta. pic.twitter.com/drUYsxSsRq

Wow, they disembarked the whole plane in 24 seconds.
