• Airlines are really loyalty programs that own planes, and just don’t realize it In a world where the three largest airlines have borrowed over $23 billion against their frequent flyer programs this year, without even pre-selling miles, that’s not even a super-controversial claim.

  The entire foundation of an airline is built around repeat customers, around brand loyalty, and around maximizing ticket yield. AIRLINES DON’T HAVE A LOYALTY PROGRAM. THE AIRLINE LOYALTY PROGRAM….. HAS AN AIRLINE!
