News and notes from around the interweb:
- “Airportr is a service that allows passengers to have their luggage picked up, checked, and delivered to their destinations. As you might expect, it’s used by wealthy or important people. So if the company’s website is insecure, you’d be able to spy on lots of wealthy or important people. And maybe even steal their luggage.”
And, in fact, researchers ” found what appear to be the personal information and travel records of multiple government officials and diplomats from the UK, Switzerland, and the US.”

- That would’ve been fun! (Of course it is not the original location of the lounge.)
The Seattle Amex Centurion Lounge is celebrating its 10th anniversary today, with a raw bar, carving station, special desserts, and all sorts of apps. Oh, and a fish toss!

- Using headphones to listen to your personal devices is part of the standard announcement on American Airlines, by the way.

My favorite expression for this is trying to put 10 pounds of sh!t into a 5 pound bag!!! LMFAO.
Speed tape is supposed to be used in limited situations on the exterior of an airplane (it can also be used on the interior of an airplane). It can also be misused. A passenger wondering if it’s application is correct should not be a problem. More education of the flying public about the use of speed tape is needed and the stay in your lane comments about it’s use need to cease. It would be interesting to have a story about ways speed tape has been misused and the problems created by the misuse.
