Allstate will give you 500 United miles each for getting an auto insurance quote and getting a home insurance quote.
The offer is valid through December 31, and miles for a home policy quote will not apply to condo or renter policies.
Walking through the vehicle quote process it didn’t ask me for a social security number, which is good, and it pulled vehicle information from existing databases which made things easier. But the site hung up on the adding drivers page.

It appears to be limited/varied by State.
It seems to be 2500 in CO.
2500 in WV as well. Except link said “system having trouble with quote” call so and so. No thanks.
Not valid in California
No miles at all for MD.
This is as bad as the Affordable Care Act site!
Basically the site hangs up 3/4 of the way through, and then it says to call a local agent or the 800 number. And they say they cant get you the miles. This was a VA policy
This is extremely misleading article. You clearly need to actually sign up and pay for an insurance plan to get the miles. You need to be paying your premiums for 5 months to get credit.
From the T&C: **Bonus will be awarded after policy is in effect for five months.
Agreed with Paul H., thought maybe it varies by state. When I go to the link, there is nothing about 500 points for a quote. It makes you select a state, and when I do, it starts the quote process with no mention of the 500 points. Just the 2,500 if you sign up and keep your policy for 5 months.
Went through the process and got the message, “We are currently having trouble completing your online quote. We saved your progress and would like to help you find the savings and discounts you deserve. Please contact an Allstate representative for assistance.”
No miles, no fun.
“Earn bonus award miles for
switching your insurance to Allstate.”
At no point does it offer miles for a quote. Also many states don’t qualify. Very misleading.
Yep, this site was done by the same people who brought you the Obamacare website. And just as honest about it’s benefits too. 🙂
Same here, got unable to complete your quote please call. Good luck getting your points!!!
Oh look, more jealous conservatives. Maybe next time. You still have plenty of crazies left for 2016.
If you scroll through the different states you will notice the offers differ by state. In some states you only get points for switching to Allstate, in others you get points for a quote. People should try to do a little more research before the complain.
not valid for Alaska either :((((
Got partially through – said it couldn’t complete the process and to call the agent. Called agent and the office is of course closed. Waste of time imo
@Seth Except, of course, that the post we read said nothing of the sort. It said, get a quote, get the miles. It did not say scroll thru and find out what may or may not be the case in your state.
All of which ignores the fact that it seems most people can no more get a quote, regardless of what is offered in their state, than can get a quote on Obamacare. If you can’t even get a quote, it doesn’t matter what the rules are for your state, it’s still a total waste of time.
LOL you guys are making fun of the Obamacare website but are eager to fly that epic disaster called the 787.
Talk about cognitive dissonance…. Get help !
Don’t bother in MA or MI.
Got the offer in the mail (Colorado) for 2500 points but only if I sign up for the insurance. Not worth it for me.
completed all of the questions…received error:
