1250 (or More) Free, Quick, and Easy United Miles

There are two easy offers for free United miles worth taking advantage of quickly.

You can earn 500 United miles for joining e-rewards and taking one survey.

E-Rewards is a survey program. I joined years ago generically rather than through a single program, so have always been able to redeem points from surveys with any of their partners. I used to use that to drop points into an account when there was a promotion for doing so. But since I haven’t seen one like that in years, and don’t find the surveys are rewarding enough, I don’t much bother anymore.

However it’s absolutely worth signing up and taking one survey for 500 miles.

Even more valuable is this offer: 750 United miles for joining MyPoints.

MyPoints is an online shopping portal that awards points for purchases, sort of like the United MileagePlus Mall, the AAdvantage eShopping Mall, or eBates.

In general it’s less rewarding than others but it wasn’t always so. I used to use MyPoints to buy cheap throwaway Amtrak tickets that would earn me Starbucks gift cards.

I used to spend a lot of time with Mypoints, the online shopping portal. You used to be able to earn a ton of free points easily. I would even click on the email spam they’d send me at 5 points apiece. On top of offers like points for “finding Mypoints Max” on their site (it would move each day but folks would share in online forums where they found him).

In addition to points just for signing up though you may want to make a single purchase through the MyPoints portal versus using another site for an additional bonus 1000 miles.
