Two Amazing Airfares Right Now: Thailand and India From $471 Roundtrip

Via Airfare Spot, there are fares from New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco to Delhi starting at $471 roundtrip.

Travel is available from late February through mid-May on Air China and on China Southern. I found these fares using airfare metasearch site Momondo.

Airfare Spot also highlights New York to Bangkok or Phuket from $497 roundtrip, with travel mid-February through mid-April.

You’re flying in coach. If you buy one of these you aren’t going to upgrade. But it’s a super cheap opportunity to fly.

  1. That price of $497 to Phuket is great because it doesn’t matter if you fly to Bangkok or not if you’re like me and are going to Chiang Mai anyway. The ticket to Chiang Mai is close in price from either city.
Either way though that’s a great price.
I have my own way of going from the US to Europe for cheap too. I go to South America first and enjoy it, then on to Europe for cheap if you know how to do it.

Great finds on the prices to Thailand!

  2. @Patrick – when US – Europe flights are already so cheap, I don’t really see the benefit of your strategy.

US – LIM / LIM – MAD is quite a bit more expensive than US – MAD when many US – MAD routes are $500 or below right now.

  3. You would have to pay me $471 to fly on China Southern or China Eastern in proliteriate class. Im actually heading there during the holidays, recently found a $1400 airfare on EVA premium economy that Im anxious to try out.

  4. I don’t know Patrick’s strategy (dude, message me), but S. America on a red-eye, and then Europe on another red-eye is the best. I’ve done it several times to beat the YQ (and because S. Am is the best). You can sleep for real on both legs, instead of for fake on the US-EU flights.
