Giveaway: 3 Nights With Club Access and Premium View at One of My Favorite Hotels in Asia

Kuala Lumpur is one of my favorite cities in the world. It’s probably my favorite food city, from satay to prawn mee to amazing roti.

It’s an interesting city with good food — probably the most decadent breakfast buffets in the world — and some of the best deals on luxury accommodations.

My favorite place to stay there is the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur. I first stayed there after it opened in 2012.

I’ve been back, and it’s only gotten better. It’s one of the top hotels in the city, has perhaps my favorite club lounge breakfast, and has fantastic views of the Petronas Towers.

It’s a TripAdvisor 2017 Travelers Choice award winner and the #3 ranked hotel in Kuala Lumpur. I’ve seen very few properties with reviews this good.

And I’m going to give away a 3 night weekend stay there, in an upgraded view room with club lounge access, thanks to Luxury Travel Diary.

This is a very special giveaway, thanks to my good friends at Luxury Travel Diary. Regular readers know them as a high-end travel blog with great reviews. They’re based in the UK and run travel auctions with real bargains.

As I’ve said before, folks who already know about these auctions don’t like this added attention, because there don’t seem to be enough bidders for many of their best offerings relative to the value available. Some of their items go way too cheap.

This prize is being given away by the hotel and Luxury Travel Diary, I’m just helping to highlight it and randomly select the winner.

Luxury Travel Diary wanted to highlight some of their deals, and offered to help organize a giveaway of a 3 night hotel stay at the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur.

    3 night weekend stay (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night) in a Club Twin Towers View Room that is inclusive of club benefits and access to our dedicated Grand Club Lounge which offers daily continental breakfast, all-day light refreshments as well as evening canapes and cocktails.

I’d add that the club lounge staff is fantastic here. And offerings are extensive both hot and cold (including from a made to order menu at breakfast).

This prize is being given away by the hotel and Luxury Travel Diary, I’m just helping to highlight it and randomly select the winner. The stay can be taken up through September 15, 2018 (so roughly a year’s validity on the prize).

  161. Would stay at the Grand Hyatt KL because … Incredible breakfast buffet, lounge food, and staff at all Grand Hyatts. No need to leave the hotel except to go for a walk or see some sights! For the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, anticipate having a cornucopia of international foods, and Malaysian food, to choose from at the buffet breakfast. It will take more than three days to sample them all. The view of the Petronas Towers at night will be incredible, especially if there is a lightening storm! And being close to the Petronas Towers, Golden Triangle, the Suria KLCC Mall, the Pavillion Mall, and the street with the local food stalls and restaurants, makes for a great location. Even the KLCC Metro stop is within easy walking distance through the air conditioned Suria KLCC Mall in the Petronas Towers. Wow. Please please please award me this three night stay!!!

  500. The quaint Roman Hotel Dei Mellini would be my selection. My wife has longed for seeing Italy, and when I went on a business trip to Milan last year, I could see in her eyes the envy and sense of loss from not inviting her to join me in Rome for an exploration of this historic city.
    We would enjoy the sights of Rome, the hotel right on the River Tiber for those ever famous romantic walks along the water, and of course 15 minutes to the various ruins in the city, the Vatican and so much more.
    Yes of course we would then head to Tiscany for some relaxation!

  521. Of the auctions, I’d probably go for the Andaz Peninsula Papagayo Resort, Costa Rica – with Hyatt status, I’d expect it to be a posh stay, I’ve never been to Costa Rica, and it’s a sane trip.

  570. My favorite auction would be “2 Nights at Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia”. KL is a convenient hub with easy access to many Southeast Asian countries all around. I flew to Vietnam from KL last time around and enjoyed my stay both in KL and HCMC.

  571. I stayed in KL before but unfortunately I had injuries in my back and leg at that time. So I was only near my hotel most of the time. I would love to do some sightseeing farther from the city center like Buta Caves if I get a chance to stay in KL again.
