  1. Gary – not to nitpick (but I will), I was in the Dalla Centurion Lounge the day it opened (2nd one after LV) and in LV as well that trip (which had only been open a few months). The WiFi password was MemberSince and hasn’t changed until I was in the Seattle lounge last week and saw the new one (although they said MemberSince would also work for a while). When and where was it MemberOf?! I sure don’t remember it and, as stated, pretty much have history since the beginning

  2. I recommend the next Amex Centurion Lounge password should be “thanksforbeingonouronehourwaitinglisttoenter” or, “weareadepartureloungeonly” or, “youarenotwelcomemorethanthreehours” or, “sorrythecappuccinomachineisbroken” or, “yourguestsarefiftydollarseach” or, “sorryweranoutoffood” or “weapologizetheshowerisoutofservice.”

  3. Re: knee room; this is why I actually preferred a lot of the old school J products (eg. 2-2-2 “La Z Boy” type seating) over the reverse herringbone seats that everyone seems to love. Having the completely open space in front of me as opposed to a confined leg-well was always a big plus for me.

  4. Interesting Gary – thought it was MemberSince from beginning and was on that lounge first day. Certainly possible I misremembered after 10 years or so

  5. No, it’s about leg room. Just about every business and First seat has at least manageable knee room. But if you can’t fully extend your legs, sleeping is a problem. And sleep is really why these seats exist in the first place.

  6. Was just asked a few minutes ago if I wanted wifi at PHX, I joked “you mean the one with the same membersince password as everywhere else for years” and the guy was taken aback. Tried to argue that it was exclusive to his location only. Ha.
