You are cordially invited to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s reign. To mark this historic occasion, we are offering a special all-inclusive Business Class fare for just $1952 round-trip in Club World (Business Class) to London and Manchester from select US gateway cities, coast to coast. Simply book your flights between now and May 18, 2012 for travel between May 26, 2012 and June 9, 2012. As a Club World customer, you can relax in our exclusive lounges before your flight and enjoy fully flat beds, gourmet menus, and other luxury amenities once on board.
Similar savings can also be found on American Airlines or on Iberia when traveling to Europe in Business Class. Plus, British Airways is offering other great fares to London in Business Class for July and August travel, too.
Available cities for the British Airways sale include New York, Boston, Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, Washington D.C., Seattle and San Francisco.
Some American Airlines top tier elites may want to poke around for sales on American fights, paid business class and then confirmed upgrades with Executive Platinum systemwides..
… Or cross fingers in the hope others match (remember the crazy BOS/MIA C fares last year?)
Equal to base fare of $771 for Club World from SFO – actually pricing out at $1947.60 all-in. I also love this line at the booking window: “Upgrade entire journey from $15761”
Wow, the base fare must be about 50 cents.
Also from Canadian gateways (Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal)

I got this one too today. I thought it seemed like a pretty good business class fare. Unfortunatley I can’t go.
I see united r/t from SFO at only 1840 for a few random dates i checked…
Darn, wish the travel window was a bit longer and I would be all over it.
UA just filed the same fare for A+ ^
You have to ask yourself if you really relish spending all that time in the que for immigration on the UK side? NOT for me.
The bogus fuel surchages really devalue those Avios, but that doesn’t detract from the value of the sale fare assuming you have the cash to spend and can take a short notice vacation during the extremely limited dates. The horizontal lie flat seats are very nice. Just be sure that your flight lands well before 1pm at LHR so that you can use the fastpass lane, otherwise you will be stuck in horrendous 1-2 hour lines at the immigration checkpoint.
Gary, Thanks for the heads up. I missed this announcement. I bought my ticket today. I would have missed it had I not seen your blog today.
@Jim L – glad to hear you got in on this!
Gary please explain the AA swu comment
If you link to BA through TopCashBack.com, you can save another 2% ($35-40)! http://www.topcashback.com/british-airways. The deal ends tomorrow.
Thanks Gary! I just booked DEN-LHR June 6-10th to visit a friend in BiZ via LA and SFO return!
Wow!
Can I upgrade a P fare with a SWU?
