Hotel Chatter reports that Doubletree hotel properties are giving away their chocolate chip cookies to anyone who walks in and asks for 24 hours on the Fourth of July.

Big Delta iDine Offer as Well
Via Free Frequent Flyer Miles, there’s also a Delta 25,000 iDine bonus on offer. Registration is required by July 25. The deal is that you need 25 qualified dines of $25 or more by 12/31/06 for 25,000 bonus miles.
25,000 United Miles for Dining
Here’s the biggest iDine bonus I’ve ever seen. If you spend $125 a month at iDine restaurants on qualifying dines during each of the last six months of the year you’ll earn 25,000 bonus United miles. Registration is required by July 25.
Northwest Small Business Program Signup Bonus
If you enter promo code BTN06 while signing up for BizPerks, the Northwest Airlines small business program, you’ll receive 50,000 bonus Biz Perks points. These covert to, say, 5 free club passes and 5 free drink coupons or a domestic upgrade and a couple club passes. The offer expires September 30th. Update: To qualify for the points you need a flight in full fare coach (B fare) or higher by September 30th credited to the Bizperks account. Still worth signing up just in case, but no longer the gimme it first appeared.
Amazon discount on travel apparel
Amazon is having a sale on ‘travel apparel’ although their idea of what people wear while traveling (as opposed to other times) is anachronistic at best. Still, coupon code wetravel takes $20 off an $80 qualifying order, and I picked up a few pairs of pants at a nice discount. Lee Jeans Men’s Wrinkle Resistant Relaxed Double Pleat Pant $38 on sale for $21.99 before coupon Tommy Hilfiger Men’s Pleated Trousers $49.50 on sale for $17.89 before coupon Also available are Tommy Hilfiger Men’s Flat Front Trousers $49.50 on sale for $17.89 before coupon Lee Jeans Men’s Wrinkle Resistant Relaxed Plain Front Pant $38-$41 on sale for $21.99-$24.99 before coupon This SlickDeals.net thread also has a list of several shirts that qualify, though none appealed to me.
Another BA Transfer Bonus
In addition to Diners Club, Starwood, and Marriott offers, you can earn 30% additional British Airways miles when transferring Radisson Gold Points to BA by July 20, 2006. (Hat tip to Free Frequent Flyer Miles.)
Delta Amex Double Miles for June, July, and August
All purchase on the Delta American Express earn double miles from June 1 through August 31. Items that already earn double miles such as restaurant and US Post Office charges do not receive additional miles under this promotion, and the limit on earning additional miles from this offer is 20,000. Bonus miles should post towards the end of October. Registration is required by August 31.
Almost free maps at Rand McNally
Randy McNally is offering $10 off with no minimum purchase, as part of a promotion with La Quinta. This was posted on Flyertalk with a suggestion to buy a map of Cyprus to coincide with all the folks going on the Alitalia fare glitch. Alas, the Cyprus map is temporarily out of stock. But plenty of other possibilities abound. Update: Link no longer appears to be working.
25 Days, 25 American Airlines Bonuses
American is celebrating 25 years of their AAdvantage program this month with 25 separate offers, one available each day for 25 days. Today is the third day, and the offer is that you can register for 25% bonus miles on your spending with the Citibank American Airlines Mastercard posted on your May, June, and July statements (up to 2500 bonus miles, that is based on up to $10,000 in spending). The spending cap reduces the potential value of the offer, but it’s still worthwhile, and the daily offer website is worth checking, well, daily.
25,000 Delta Miles for Internet Phone Service
Earthlink Voice is offering 25,000 Delta miles for internet phone service, a minimum commitment of six months would appear to be required to get the miles. They’re also offering 10,000 miles for using their high-speed internet. (Hat tip to Free Frequent Flyer Miles.) Update: Reader Alan reports that the fine print on the offer requires a 12-month commitment. So even though miles should post within six you’ll probably face a penalty for cancelling early if you want out before 12 months are up.
