Update: Chase shares, “Customers who open a card with their business banker at a branch could receive a targeted offer of 100k or $500 as you referenced. They are only available to customers who have a relationship with a business relationship manager”
The Chase Ink Business PreferredSM Card has a signup bonus of 80,000 points after $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months after account opening.
Joe Brancatelli shared an in-branch promotion for the card “[a]pparently part of National Small Business Week promo (til May 6)” offering a signup bonus of 100,000 points after $5000 in purchases in the first 3 months after account opening.
I’ve been in Washington DC for several days and haven’t been into a branch (there’s no branch within 100 miles there last time I checked) but Joe shares a copy of the flyer:
If you are near a branch this week you might want to check it out. Otherwise the online offer for the card remains one of the best signup bonuses out there and it’s one of the strongest small business cards.
Dr of Credit posted on April 11 that stated the Chase Ink Business Preferred 100,000 point bonus would end on August 27, 2017.

IS THIS A 5/24 CARD?
Went in to Chase to apply with a friendly banker. The 100,000 point offer wouldn’t come up. You have to have a business account. not a regular checking account, saving account, CD or card. A business account only. Otherwise 80,0000 point bonus applies. Given Chase poor customer service in the past and denial of my CSP for 5/24 in March, I passed.
It’s real? Chase branches are about to get a lot busier.
@penny – I just applied for the chase ink preferred and was approved. I am well beyond 5/24. I have read business cards don’t count.
I went to chase as well. 100k was not available. My PB didnt even hear anything about it. Guess its only if you have business checking account.
Anyone here in Socal and got this offer? Do you really need a business to open an account?
Got a $500 bonus for opening a business acct not long ago…and found a banker who helped me reduce the monthly charge to $0 if I maintain a $1500 balance. I’ll head to the bank tomorrow to grab the 100k bonus!
@Chris congrats! I am slightly over 5/24 (8/24 actually). Applied for 100K in branch through a BRM, but received the dreaded “too many credit cards opened in the last two years”. I don’t have a Chase biz banking relationship, but do have a personal checking.
Any advice? Will try recon.
Offer not valid in Utah, unless my small biz has $1M or more in annual revenue…
Just went into my local branch and applied, it is real, (but because with certain provisions as always) we do not do at least $250k or more from our new start up business, so we will not get the 100k bonus points we will only get the 80K points. So I said ok, go ahead we were going to get it anyways, lets go ahead and apply for it, we could use 80K in points.
This offer was not made available to me earlier this week when I asked about it specifically at the Michigan branch where I have my business checking account.
I had to specifically ask for it, after reading about from here. Note there wasn’t any visible notices in the branch I went to.
I should also say that the Branch Manager helped me. He looked on the computer but only 80k bonus points showed up. He told me to wait a minute, that he thought he remembered something, and rifled through papers…he turned up the 100k point bonus. He asked around if anyone knew how to get the 100k points when he could only see the 80k points. His marketing manager had given that flyer to him but turns out it isn’t valid in all states. Another banker in the branch had the correct flyer with the $1M requirement on it…
Went to my local branch Saturday. (last day of promo)The agent said a relationship manager has to
process the application and one was not in that day. We proceeded calling 6 other branches so I could apply for the card. Every branch had no such manager on duty for Saturday,
Bad planning on Chases part so I lost out.
I just got this deal today at my local Chase bank — 100K points. Apparently it was extended, or they extended it for me. It’s real. This is the business card, so you need a Chase Business account, and you should apply at your branch in person. You might want to call and see if you can still get it given that the deal is technically supposed to be expired now.
I went into a Chase branch and opened a consumer checking account, and also asked specifically about the 100,000 Chase Ink Preferred deal. The banker spoke with the business relationship manager and he confirmed this is real, and I signed up that day. I cannot speak to when this ends, but it is without question a real thing.
