You can add connecting flights beyond Hong Kong, for instance here’s Cebu in the Philippines for $504 roundtrip. (I had a great cooking class there.)
In Phuket I much enjoyed the Westin Siray Bay.
In Danang, I thought the Hyatt Regency was fabulous.
It’s worth a visit to the Presidential Palace and to have some great Pho in Ho Chi Minh City.
This is a great opportunity for budget travelers to fly to Southeast Asia on the cheap!
And you’ll earn zero EQMs and zero Redeemable Miles. A good fare for sure, be everyone just needs to be aware that they will get nothing in return.
@ORD Flyer, You get to go to some awesome places. That’s the primary reason for traveling. I get your point though. AA has some good but higher fares from CLT my home base that will earn EQM and RDM and avoid the cost of positioning.
The good news for Qantas FF members, this JFK-HKG return flight on CX will earn 7500 QFF points and 80 Status Credits !
that pho looks good right about now.
@John, some of us actually travel for the luxury treatment. No pampering = no trip for me.
Top luxury = I don’t care where it is.
