FARE ALERT: Europe From Just $192 Roundtrip in January/February

Via Airfare Spot low cost transatlantic carrier Norwegian has fares between New York and Stockholm from just $192 roundtrip all-in, with all taxes, for January and February.

The trick here is that several of the airline’s international websites create the possibility of savings through currency arbitrage.

Norwegian has really introduced cheap fares to a number of US transatlantic routes. And oddly it’s worth searching their website in different currencies — because you get different prices. There are arbitrage opportunities in this case from the same seller.

Searching in the US you’ll find pricing from $212 roundtrip.

My first stop to compare pricing was the Norwegian UK website. I went to their fare calendar and picked dates where the cheapest fares were being offered.

The same flights being offered in the US at $212 were coming up at £166.20.

That’s just a couple of dollars less, be sure to use a credit card with no foreign currency conversion fees of course.

However there’s pretty good savings on the Norwegian Swedish site. There the same flights are 1750 Swedish Krona.
That’s just $192.13.

The airline charges for advance seat assignments, drinks and food. They limit carry on bags to 10 kg and they charge for checked bags. But they’ve got brand new Boeing 787s and this fare is incredibly cheap.
