Freddie Awards Voting is Now Open!

The Freddie Awards are in their 25th year of representing the voice of the frequent traveler, honoring the best in airline, hotel, and credit card loyalty programs during the previous year.

Now is your chance to vote for your favorite programs, the ones you believe did the best job for their members in 2012. You’ll be among more than 1,000,000 frequent flyers expressing their collective voice.

And sponsors of the Freddies also provide opportunities to engaged, high-value customers that are casting their ballots. Check out the special offers when you complete your ballot.

I’ve had the great honor of serving as Chair of Nominations for the Freddies, so I’ve been in touch with leadership at scores of frequent flyer programs over the past couple of months preparing for this.

And as a co-founder of the frequen flyer community, I’m proud that Milepoint is one of the sponsors. (Airline and hotel frequent flyer programs do not pay any fee to enter, and are not charged to attend the dinner either, since decisions are all in the hands of frequent travelers.)

Milepoint’s offer is an iPad mini every week for six weeks during the voting period of February 15 through March 31.

Here’s the description, which makes clear that existing Milepoint members are eligible to win, too:

To earn your chance at an iPad mini, just register an account on milepoint — the smart, friendly, and fun forum for frequent travelers. The only rule — only one member registration on milepoint allowed during the iPad mini-A-Week Giveaway promotional period.

*Register, make a post or visit milepoint between Feb 15 – March 31, 2013

Cast your ballot today! and come share who you voted for at Milepoint.

  1. There needs to be a “worst in category” vote to publicly shame programs that engage in extreme devaluations without fair notice, etc. Then instead of just being a marketing lovefest, the vote would actually benefit frequent flyers in a very practical way.
