  1. The Wife and i are planning on visiting the Borgata next weekend specifically to match our Mlife status. I did verify a few days ago that this offer is still available since MGM took over full ownership of the Borgata on 8/3/16. I have Mlife platinum and the Wife is waiting on her Mlife gold which takes 7 – 10 days to process. You must now call Mlife to status match from Hyatt to Mlife. You cannot get an Mlife member card sent to you. You need to visit an Mlife hotel to get the member card. Seeing we don’t have Mlife cards, we will try to get the status match @ the Borgata by pulling up our Mlife status page via the web on our phone. Hopefully that will work. I’ve read data points that it will work.

  2. For those of you that have not checked out the Borgata, it is my favorite casino/hotel on the east coast. Very well done and a lot of things to do for the non-gambler as well. Rooms were remodeled in the last five years. Buffet is very good as well.

  3. Nice find, Gary. Do you know if the complimentary room is just for one night or can it be used for a two or three night stay?

  4. I can confirm that they will accept if you show them status on your phone by pulling up mlife status. I did that today.

  5. So no one can confirm the max number of nights that can qualify as a stay? How about a year? Seems like a pretty crucial piece of info to me…

  6. @ Gary I’d like to know as well.

    Thx for the article, Gary.
Could you explain a bit more on how to status match to which program and how it works?
I’m Hyatt Diamond, so do I need to match my Hyatt Status now to “MGM M life Rewards Platinum status” and then match MGM M Plat to Borgota? And how does it work?
I don’t see any submit form for a match here: https://m.theborgata.com/casino/my-borgata-rewards/black-label-trade-up
    Thx again Michael
