  1. As far as QE stepping down years ago to allow Big Ears Charlie to be king … the poor woman waited for a miracle for 96 years that would prevent that. But she finally got too tired and left this dolt on the throne. Since she’s the one who caused most of his personality problems in the first place by being such a horrific mother, I hope the Brits can stand him over the coming years. Together with ol’ horse face Camilla, they’re quite a pair.

  2. It seems these travel forums have become the ‘place’ where faceless morons can spew their worthless pathetic comments about the Royal family.
    This is a travel forum – not the National enquirer.
    Come on Gary – such comments should be removed.

  3. I’ll never understand why Queen Elizabeth didn’t relinquish her crown earlier so that she could see her son become king. By the way does anyone actually want Charles to be king?

    Must be a slow day in MAGA Texas. But, in spite of your being a dolt, I will offer some suggestions to a know it all:
    1. The Queen always said her job was for life, not like Sarah Palin. And for this, her subjects greatly admired how she went about the job of being the Queen.
    2. At one time, suppose it had to do with Diana, the people grew unhappy with Prince Charles. But, over the years, he has worked his way back into the people’s favor. So, in this time of sorrow, they are proud of King Charles III.

    Gary, being a Texan, you can’t always compare people to your “beloved” governor. Give it a rest. When you step into a Texas size pile, clean it up, not wallow in it.

    You answered your own question.

  5. “I’ll never understand why Queen Elizabeth didn’t relinquish her crown earlier so that she could see her son become king. By the way does anyone actually want Charles to be king?’;

    Typical “dumb American” comment from an extremely “dumb American”.

    Gary, spend a few minutes doing the research.

    Ruling monarchs don’t get to “relinquish their crown” – they have to abdicate. Revise your history (oops, you never knew it):

    https://www.thehistorypress.co.uk/articles/why-was-edward-viii-s-abdication-a-necessity/

    ohh, look at that..a monarch who blundered just like the insufferable t*RUMP!!!

    And…memo to Gary – monarchs are preordained by birthright, not popularity. That’s the whole fucking point. It’s a legacy of heritage and privilege with HUGE wealth behind the scenes. Take it or leave it. No vote. No popularity contest. Pedo princes (alleged) protected.

    It takes a monumental moment in history to divorce from a constitutional monarchy – Australia tried it 20 odd years ago only to be thwarted by the right wing twats (the ambient government “weighted” the plebicite question).

    You know nothing about other countries. You ignorant fool.

  6. @platy – You haven’t said anything inconsistent with my comment, other than to hurl insults. Sorry you were triggered. She should have abdicated – except she must not have been so keen for Charles to be king, either!
