Marriott 30% Off Cyber Monday Sale and Announcing a $1000 Blog Giveaway

Marriott is running a Cyber Monday sale, 30% off of bookings made this Monday at ~ 350 participating Marriott hotels in North America for travel between December 20 and March 31.

The deal will be available here using promo code 16C starting 12:01am Eastern and will run for 24 hours.

These are advance purchase, non-refundable rates.

Note that the offer link is live, showing which hotels are participating but the rates will not be bookable until Monday.

I’m told that this promotion began out of New York and grew, and that participating hotels had to make meaningful inventory available in order to participate. So while the rate won’t be available on every date during the promotion period, it’s supposed to offer good availability. Of course, even if available it’s 30% off the then-prevailing rate so peak dates will be pricier.

Some sample rates (starting from, plus tax):

  • Renaissance Toronto – $104
  • Washington Marriott – $69
  • Washington DC Wardman Park Marriott & JW Marriott DC – $97
  • Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel & Convention Center – $53
  • Renaissance Chicago O’Hare – $63
  • JW Marriott New Orleans – $97
  • Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace – $90
  • Brooklyn Marriott – $139
  • JW Marriott Essex House – $269
  • Renaissance Austin – $111
  • JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort – $132
  • Key Bridge Marriott $69

To spread the word about the sale, and help a couple of lucky readers travel to some of the 350+ participating hotels, I’m going to be running a giveaway of (2) $500 Marriott gift cards. Stay tuned, as that post will be coming up next!

  2. How many rooms can you book for the Cyber Monday rates? We will need 3 rooms for a feb trip, and wanted to see if each person had to book separately or if we can book at 3 together.
