New Kentucky Fried Chicken Hotel Offers Daily Free Chicken Credit

Two years ago Taco Bell opened a resort in Palm Springs. Now KFC is extending its reach in hospitality to lodging, if only for a popup lasting 11 nights in London.

“House of Harland” will be open for 11 nights between the 18th – 29th August. Guests will be picked up by the “Colonelmobile” (a black Cadillac) and made to “feel like fried chicken royalty from start to finish.”

They offer “chick-flicks playing in the cinema room” and drumsticks in the bedding, wallpaper, towels and even arcade machine. At ~ US$150 per night, guests can only stay a single night, though each room comes with $140 worth of free chicken that can be ordered via a ‘press for chicken’ button in the room.

Oddly, only 6 of the 11 nights were ever publicly bookable with two nights “reserved for select KFC guests..one is for a KFC competition winner. It’s not clear what happens on the other nights.”
