  1. My IHG offer changed from Book 1 Stay using the app to Book 14 Stays using the app. Clearly that’s not reasonable or realistic (my offer reflected my relatively low usage of IHG properties over the last year) so it means one of two things:

    — Some kind of technical issue (albeit one that looks oddly intentional)

    — An attempt by IHG to essentially cancel the promotion without saying “hey, we’re canceling the promotion”.

    In any event, I can’t imagine that it’s reasonable or legal to do this after people have already made purchases under the existing terms. Fortunately (or perhaps unfortunately if they decide to honor the previous terms only for those who’ve made purchases) I have so far only done the survey.

  2. My wife’s offer was pretty easy to achieve, and we had already completed 4 of the five offers needed to get the 2 free nights. However as I was logging in see if our stays had posted I noticed one requirement had changed. The “Book A Stay” with the IHG app changed to “Book 8 Stays” I’m interested to hear how they respond to your inquiry Gary. I have screen shots from the day we signed up for the promo and again after the change.

  3. My IHG promotion added having to visit hotels in 4 different countries. Right as all my travel concentrates on 2 countries. Also increased number of reservations that need to be done in the app. Went from 1 to 2 and then to 3. Yay.

  4. My IHG promotion included 250 points for a download and login to the app. I did this several weeks ago in September when the promotion first came out. Today, this still does not appear on the tracker (still says “0 of 5 offers complete). Response to my email inquiry from IHG said that tracker would update in 7-10 business days and 2-3 weeks for bonus points to appear in account. Points haven’t shown up yet either. I am hesitant to complete the other 4 offers if they won’t register to my account. Any advice?
